It's a Post Office, and not a bad one at that.
They can have up to four counters open, but two is the usual. As a result, the queues can be enormous - stretching through the post office and out through the front shop too.
As the only Post Office for miles around, I daren't criticize it too much. The staff are always helpful and the layout is clean with a well-stocked front shop. (Not so good if you've got kids with you, as they have a good array of sweets, toys and magazines).
You may get lucky and manage to park on the opposite side of the road. If not, you'll have to lug your parcels half a mile from the nearest car-park. read more
