Three other practices declined treatment because my case was so problematic and high risk. I was told that some of my teeth would fall out, that it was only a matter of time. One said it was imminent. Jeff Drayer took a big chance taking me on. We're 9 months into treatment, and things are "moving" along better than expected. They are so so careful with my teeth. The staff is compassionate and kind and super professional. The office is very clean and is very well run. My appointment times are honored with no more than a 5-minute wait. I can recommend this practice without any reservations whatsoever. I am very grateful to Dr. Drayer for the big professional risk he has taken in accepting me as a patient and the trust we have for each other. He has given me hope that my smile will be improved on the other side of this. Glad I kept looking!

Every time I was there, I saw him take his gloves off, hold them in his hand, and then put those same gloves back on to treat other patients. This wasn't something I saw just once, it happened regularly. I also saw staff go between patients without changing their gloves, and I didn't see handwashing between patients. A lot of patients probably don't notice because their backs are turned. I reached out to the health department hoping things would change, but I never heard back. At later visits, it seemed to me that they were being more discreet about it instead of changing the behavior. He also always had very little to say to me. Seeing him be friendly and talkative with other patients while barely speaking to me made me feel dismissed. As a person of color, I couldn't help wondering why I wasn't getting that same courtesy. I wanted to finish my treatment, but I no longer felt comfortable staying. I truly pray he takes these concerns seriously and makes changes. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected when receiving care.

Dr. Durgam is wildly unprofessional. If you share your HONEST negative experience in a review of…read moreher practice, she will stalk your social media and threaten legal action. The review I shared was 100% true. A member of her staff was disgustingly rude to me over the phone. I have worked as a medical receptionist myself for over a decade and would never speak to anyone the way her staff spoke to me that day. Dr. Durgam, seeking out your unsatisfied ex-clients on social media to make threats shows you are clearly unstable and I, for one, am relieved to know I made the right choice to never visit your office again. Sorry, crazy. You can't just sue everyone who leaves a review that you don't like.

It's unfortunate that I even have to write this review…read more I had my first consultation at this office in February 2026 and decided to move forward with Invisalign, setting up payments through HFD. I was told it would take about 4-8 weeks for my trays to arrive, which I was completely fine with. Around the 6-week mark, I called for an update and was told there was some kind of issue and that I needed to keep waiting. Because of the delay, I was offered a partial refund since I had already started making payments. I agreed and was told the refund would be issued by check, since it couldn't be applied to my HFD account. Since then, I have gone to the office twice to pick up the check and have been met with nothing but excuses each time. It has now been about 10 weeks, and I still do not have my Invisalign trays, nor do I have any clear timeline for when they will arrive. Communication has been poor, and I've felt dismissed on multiple occasions. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating especially because this was something I was genuinely excited about and had been wanting to do for a long time. At this point, I will not continue making payments for something I may not even receive. I am also considering taking further action if this situation is not resolved soon. I would not recommend this office. I will not update or change this review until I receive both my refund and my Invisalign trays.

Everyone at Morris Park Dental has been very kind, and having multiple dental services available in…read moreone location is convenient. In fact, that convenience and the positive review from my other half was why I chose this practice. Unfortunately, my experience with the financial and insurance side of my treatment has been frustrating and unclear. My advice to patients with dental insurance is simple: contact your insurance company directly before agreeing to treatment. Ask what is covered, what requires prior authorization, what has been submitted, and what your estimated responsibility should be. Do not rely solely on being told that "insurance does not cover it." In my case, I was initially told that insurance would not pay for certain implant-related services. However, after contacting my insurers myself, I learned that both plans provided coverage for the extraction, bone graft, and continuing implant process, provided I proceeded with the treatment. I also repeatedly asked whether claims had been submitted and was told they had been. When I contacted one of my insurance companies, however, a representative told me that no claim had been received from the practice. It appeared that one insurance plan had been billed while the other had not. I paid the balance requested without hesitation because I trusted the practice and its expertise. My concern is not that dental care costs money; my concern is the lack of clear and consistent answers about the total charges, which insurance plans were being billed, what each plan covered, and how my balance was calculated. My calls were not always returned, and the responses I received often felt incomplete. Transparency is extremely important when patients are making costly healthcare decisions. We pay for insurance, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses, so reducing our costs matters to us just as reimbursement matters to a provider. If a practice participates in an insurance network, patients should be given clear information about how those benefits are being used. Morris Park Dental may still be a convenient option for people seeking several services in one place, and the staff members I encountered were pleasant. However, patients should read every document carefully, request an itemized treatment plan and billing statement, verify all claims directly with their insurance companies, and get financial explanations in writing before paying or proceeding. As the saying goes, "All that glitters is not gold." Ask questions and independently confirm the answers.
