Unfortunately, it appears the tech at the parts store cleared the error codes, so the ABS will remain until it triggers another error. A little background - I took my car to Tom Kelly Buick a month ago and without even diagnosing, Kelly said they were "positive" the catalytic converter needed to be replaced (not even 60,000 miles on the car) and gave me a quote of about $2700 - just for the part. I felt Kelly was not being honest with me so I did not acknowledge their quote. Today, Kruse proved me right! Not only did Kruse give me a specific reason related to an exhaust leak (which isn't even CLOSE to what Kelly would have robbed me for). Kruse went way above what I expected with their HONESTY!!! Ten minutes after getting back on the road the warning light is back on. Great - the car is completely full so changing the tire isn't really feasible. Nearby Volvo dealership doesn't have the tire in stock. Okay - let's call the closest DT. Caleb quickly searched the system and although they don't have the exact tire to match the other three we were offered several in-stock alternatives. Unlike Belle Tire, they have multiple people working on a vehicle and go bay to bay it seems which just gets cars out quicker. Only reason for the 1 star is the upselling of things I knew I didn't need. I get it comes from corporate to do those things, but it's annoying regardless. That being said they are not the only ones that upsell you on things and I would still go back.

Plenty help help to process scheduled appointments and walk ins. Today in choose to make an appointment on line. It was easy to do. They seemed prepared to start my work by time the appointment time arrived. My day was costly than I planned. I feel like they were being honest about my issues. The cost seemed a lot but probably fair. The work took over 3.5 hours. On the down side...I noticed the all important sign going into the shop that required people to wear safety glasses. 9 of 12 people didn't wear safety glasses including 4 management/desk types.

I have had two positive experiences here. The first was to fix a leaky tire, which they did for no…read morecharge. I was surprised at that because it wasn't a simple nail in the tire fix. The tire was leaking from the seal on the rim, so that took the whole tire off and remounted and replaced the valve stem. Then they test drove my car to determine the reason the brakes were pulsating for free. I walked out of there with no charges. My second trip was to replace the front brakes and rotors that were previously determined to be the cause of the pulsating. I asked them to check the rear brakes to see how much life was left in them. They came back and told me that there was 80% life left in the rear brakes. They could had lied to me, but they didn't. I think this business is off on good footing. If they keep it up, I will be a customer for life.

I called several local mechanics, tire companies, family And friends and all of them said no or they were working. My last call to McMahons just goes to show me that they are still decent human beings in this world. Normally McMahons only does site visit for semi trucks so I felt blessed. They showed up quick, with smiles on Their faces and so friendly and caring. Rex was one and the other Justin. I scheduled a pickup (which they do for the business I'm employed under) for Monday at 9am- I checked with my concierge at 3pm that day and the porter had failed to pickup my car (day one missed). I called over to them and they'd informed me they had me down for a drop off (which I've literally never done in 10 years), whatever- I told them my car would be in the parking lot for pickup Tuesday at 9am. I get a notification on Tuesday at 12:41pm that the car had been picked up. I receive no verbal update until about 3pm when I'm told the car will be repaired and returned to me by end of business day. I got a second call about 30 minutes later informing me that was incorrect, and NOTHING had been performed on the car- they'd instead be returning it to the lot with NO SERVICE provided, but they need my car for a third day. Fine. My car is waiting in the lot at 7:30 Wednesday am and I CALL THEM specifically to inform the car is there, and I'm anticipating a pickup from them at 9am (to avoid a similar debacle to the previous day)- My concierge team calls me at 10:40 to let me know they just picked the car up. I was contacted today at 2pm for payment, no apologies until I addressed my concerns head on- to which I was met with a "I didn't want to tell you this, but we're super short staffed- I don't want to feed you excuses" blah blah blah. Chapin and Team- Customers DON'T CARE how busy you are. They care about how YOU MAKE THEM FEEL. And when you make me feel like I'm not a priority- I'm going to seek that feeling out elsewhere. I…read moreinformed the technician that I needed one tire and he provided me of the brands, prices and warranties. They had 3 in stock of the brand/size that I needed and they could see it that day. When my wife arrived with the vehicle she got the full court press that she needed to get 4 tires not one and that if she only replaced one tire it would be DANGEROUS to drive and there would be NO warranty (not withstanding the fact they told me they only had 3 tires of my particular brand/size) They told her all of her tires were completely shot. That was COMPLETELY FALSE and trying to take advantage of her by trying scare tactics!! The back tires have more than half of the tread life left when measured. Public service notice that Tire Barn will not warranty tires if you do not purchase 4 tires from them need them or not and she had to sign a waiver of the warranty. They could have told me that up front when I called but they found it better to try to bully my wife when she arrived. Shameful business tactics and I'm fine with the no warranty because I'm not going back.
