Inside there is no dining as the tables and chairs all are in one area and the bathroom is blocked. There is a place you can sit, but it feels empty. It looks really old and run down like things have not changed back in the 1976's when the place opened up and not so sure how much they clean the place up. The prices I can not complain about as they are cheap. I ordered the 2pc combo which comes with a drink and fries for $8.00. Be warned the food does take awhile to cook because they cook it for quite some time for 15 minutes as well as the fries. They do have daily specials which are cheap too in front, but I am sure it is everyday. The chicken overall is really good and I ended up getting a thigh, breast and wing an extra piece. Good thing they gave me that extra piece as the chicken breast was really dry and nasty that I could not eat the whole thing. The fries was good to. Since there was no in door dining and I was really hungry I ended up eating the chicken in the car which was a mistake as the chicken was hot and I drop it on my jacket and it needs to be washed to get rid of all of the grease. Other than that I would come back, but it is something where I could eat once in awhile as it was really greasy and my stomach did not thank me later.

However, I'm still a sucker for Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken. I was introduced to this fast food franchise a few years ago and it'd have to be my number one choice for fried chicken, to be honest. Ive tried two other Louisiana Fried Chicken in Dallas and theirs one were spicy asf lol this one wasn't which was nice but finding the center pink sucked. It's why I gave it 2 stars because although my order sucked, my partner still enjoyed theirs. Their order was a catfish plate and an order of two drumsticks. Their fish was thoroughly cooked and their chicken wasn't uncooked like mines. The service was alright, my order was taken and then I had to wait maybe 20 minutes? It was a little busy so it wasn't so bad. The ambiance was casual. You can't really dine in because there's no tables but there are a lot of chairs set along the sides of the dining area and their spread apart. It looks like they probably did it during the pandemic and then just kept it like that which I know a lot of business have end up doing and I guess cause it makes less work(?‍idk). At least it's nice and cool inside. The heat makes you annoyed but their AC was kicking strong. I will say that onn the side of the building, it reeks of piss and I know that's not the establishments fault because I saw that there were signs of a homeless person or persons probably nearby, so that was unfortunate but other than that, inside was clean and spacious. I would recommend trying their food just maybe not this particular one. They only have one register which I kind of find odd and at the same time I guess that it makes sense so that they don't take in more orders than they need to.

The chicken itself had great flavor and solid seasoning, though it could have been applied a bit more evenly across the pieces. Service was quick, taking only about 7 minutes to get my order hot and fresh. They also have 3 different types of Kool-Aid on tap. I was a bit surprised it didn't come with bread and pickles, so keep that in mind if you like having those on the side. The waiting area could definitely use a little sprucing up aesthetics-wise, but it felt clean enough while waiting.

The counter attendant was friendly and helped me narrow down my order. I got the Catfish Basket with Steak Fries. The catfish was cooked perfectly and seasoned with love. It checked all the boxes: lightly crusted, moderate crisp edges, and a flaky and interior. Brownie points for the portion size as well. This basket is definitely not something you can eat in one sitting. The steak fries were a miss for me; visible seasoning, but lacked flavor. It definitely met the eye test, however. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!…read more This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had anywhere. I called in my order and was told I could choose my fountain drink when I arrived. Five minutes later when I got there, the same employee said the fountain machine was broken and then tried to require me to either pay for a fountain drink I would not receive or pay extra for a bottled drink. When I asked to simply remove the drink and pay for the chicken and fries that were already prepared, I was told they "don't sell that" and that I would not be served. After this dispute, the employee handed the food that had been prepared for my order to customers who were waiting in front of me and told me that my order was canceled. Shortly after, two customers came in and were allowed to order only chicken and wings with no issue, even though I had just been told that was not possible. I have video of this interaction. I then offered again to pay for the food that had been made for me. Instead of resolving the situation, the employee canceled my order and called the police even though no crime had occurred. Being refused service after attempting to pay the posted price, having your food given away in front of you, seeing other customers allowed to order what you were denied, and then having police called over a simple pricing dispute is beyond unacceptable. I recorded the interaction for my own protection because of how out of control it became. If you care about fair pricing, basic respect, or being treated like a human being, do yourself a favor and avoid this location entirely.
