The two guys that arrived were professional, kind, and explained everything to me. Had a little light that they shined on couch and ottoman. It showed everything! Apparently my dog had more than one accident. I was so embarrassed, but the techs reassured me that they could clean everything out. 1 hour later, they were complete. Brought light back out and showed me. Everything was gone! My couch looked brand new! It does take 4-8 hours to dry. Worth every penny. I will do this at least annually. No shoe covers were worn until the technician was placing the protective papers under the legs of the furniture. I had to request to have the papers placed. The second technician was sitting in the truck, not assisting, for the last 35 minutes of the visit. They were correct when they told me the carpet would dry in 24 hours. I do not recommend their services.

This time they sent out an AC tech and an electrician (Vincent). The electrician went straight to her breaker and told her that it was so outdated and could cause a fire at any time. Convinced her that it was pretty urgent and really scared her. He quoted her $9000.00 dollars to replace everything. At this point, the AC tech just walked out and waited in the truck. When she expressed concern over the price, Vincent quickly brought out an iPad and told her they had financing. He then had her apply for a loan for the $9k. Since she was still scared about the potential fire, she signed for it. Luckily, Vincent could not start on the job right away and scheduled it a few days out. Once they left and she calmed down, she told me and another friend about the interaction. We told her that this was completely suspicious. She then emailed them and the finance company that she wanted to withdraw the loan application and cancelled the repair appointment. They did let her out of contract, but had the audacity to tell her that they were highly disappointed in her. Really? Anyways, she called another AC company and that company came and unclogged a drain for $200 and her AC is working great. They also inspected the breaker at her request and found that even though it was old, it was completely functional and there was no immediate risk or danger of fire. She will never use this company again

I contacted American Appliance Repair Corpus for of my whirlpool icemaker. I contacted them and they ordered a new icemaker and sent me a written quote for its installation. I also had to pay $169 upfront for the icemaker. One hour before they were to arrive, they called and said they had made a mistake and it wasn't going to be a $50 install but a $225 install. Of that amount it had to be paid before they would install it. this is after we had already paid them over $200 to service the existing icemaker. We debated the issue and they would not change their mind. One of the technicians hung his over our bar top and mysteriously my 45 year pin for the Masonic Lodge, a commemorative pocket knife, came up missing. The knife stays in the exact same place every time it is not in use The technicians left after they demanded that we pay cash only. The technicians left the new icemaker and we had a reputable company come out yesterday and said the unit had not been serviced correctly and that there was a burned connector which should have been easily noticed if it had been serviced properly We have left multiple messages for the American Appliance Repair to call us back, but they have failed to do so I would not recommend this company to anyone they advertise this company as a Christian philosophy, but that is far from the truth
