I was informed that when My 1.56-carat stone was removed from its setting, due to a small chip, it had "turned to dust," reducing its weight to 1.32 carats. This explanation makes no sense--diamonds are one of the hardest materials on earth and do not simply disintegrate. The lack of documentation or a clear, logical explanation raises serious concerns about mishandling or possible dishonesty. For over two years, I have tried to resolve this issue, but my calls and messages have been repeatedly ignored. I finally managed to reach the owner, Walid, by calling from a blocked number at his store (I've heard many excuses as to why he's never at the store) assured me that he wasn't avoiding me and promised to provide a better-quality pair of earrings. I go back four days later and at first they act as if I never put in an application.. then the guy comes out and said I can get the gun. He then makes me wait more than an hour.. first he couldn't find the trigger lock and after 30 minutes of shakingly trying to put several locks in.. he gets one in. he asks for my card and instead of putting it in a machine.. he copies it first ( I'm making a police report, ) I asked why he copied my card and he went into all this crap about if they don't get paid and all that crap... he pretends that my card won't read twice.. telling me if the chip won't read he can't sell it. I had another card ready for his bull. he keeps asking me ( lightly ) if theres a problem.. he says it every time I ask him a question.
