Wish I could give 0 stars. Dropped off my engagement ring and wedding band the day after I got them 12/21/25, to get them resized. My fiancé and I were told 3 weeks for both. My fiancé called in a couple days before the full 3 weeks because I was excited, they first couldn't find my fiancé's order because they put it under the wrong person (same name though), and was told our promise date would be 1/14/26. My fiancé called to see if it was in on that day and the sales lady said all of the repair jewelers were out sick so we were going to have to wait another 3 weeks. I ended up calling them that same day to figure out what was going on, the sales lady kept cutting me off, claiming there was nothing she could do to help anything in this situation. She was getting noticeably upset and put on hold for 3 minutes after fighting with me to somehow find my ring. What I had to go through for them to thoroughly check the store for my ring was insane. We picked the engagement ring up that night and was told my infinity band would be another 3 weeks, which we didn't totally care about since they had to customs make it for a 8.5 size ring. My fiancé called in on 1/29 to check on it and AGAIN they couldn't find him and put the order in under the wrong person. They fixed it but said that the tracking for the ring just said shipped and they didn't know why it said that so they told him they would email corporate to find out. The sales lady called my fiancé 1/31/26 to say they couldn't custom make or resize a ring that's on clearance, my fiancé asked if it was put on clearance before or after he bought it and the sales lady said after. Again claiming there was literally nothing she could do. We came in today 2/1/26 and got a refund for the wedding band. If you want a memorial, easy and seamless engagement memory when it come to anything about your ring, DO NOT COME TO HELZBERG. The most rude and insane customer service my fiancé and I have ever experienced. If I wasn't so attached to my engagement ring, we'd return that too. read more

I don't know why we keep coming back to this shop? I know my fiance' told me that he bought my engagement ring here. Typical mall jewelry shop. Has rings, chains, bangles, bracelets, watches, pendants, etc. Associates pacing back and forth helping customers out. It wasn't too too busy when we walked in, so we managed to get an associate right away. We were in the store for rings and our associate was very personable and very helpful through out the selection process. Wasn't pushy either. She just showed us what we wanted to see and what we wanted to try on. After a few moments of choosing, we came to a decision. We placed an order, we rang up and we've purchased ourselves some rings. Their customer service is amazing. Plus there was people waiting to be helped as well and they catered to them like they were family. I would definitely buy jewelry here again. Update: I was told my ring would be gone for 3-4 weeks due to the high volume of customers sending jewelry off to be fixed during the holiday. I was completely okay with that time frame, as I would rather my ring be fixed than have it for pictures or something during the holidays. Anyways, I was surprised to get a text message via the messaging center through Helzburg a week later saying my ring was ready to be picked up. I drove an hour there to get it only to find out they in fact did NOT fix my ring. The prong was still bent. I'm not sure what they thought they were supposed to be working on but it didn't happen. I stated to the jeweler who was assisting me that the ring was in for a bent prong and that prong was STILL bent. She began looking at it and fixed it for me in about 10 minutes. I appreciated the fact that she was able to service it but I am highly disappointed that it wasn't fixed the whole week they had it. I'm not sure what's happening at this location but I have not been happy about their procedures and service lately. read more

When my fiancé and I started to talk about getting engaged we already discussed how much to spend on an engagement ring. When he began shopping, the sales associated continued to pester him with rings that were out of his price range. After he had found "the ring" she then continued to berate him saying that I would not like it because he was not spending enough money. Later when we decided to do start looking at wedding bands we returned to Helzberg. After telling her several times what our budget was, the sales associate continued to suggest us items that were out of our price range. She also repeatedly gave me rings that I wasn't interested in trying on. Although I do know that sometimes, one may be surprised what they like, I was very frustrated with our visit. It has been two years now and shortly after my ring was cleaned for the insurance policy, I noticed that the metal underneath was extremely dirty and one of my stones was missing. We took in the ring to have the stone replaced and have the prongs checked. Three weeks after it was returned the same stone was missing. This time when we took it back, the man who helped us checked the prongs using the microscope (something that the previous associate failed to do), and quickly discovered that the prong had broken. I dropped my rings off today to have them sent in to have the rhodium plating done and I dealt with Lauren. She couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! I am a current customer of Helzberg and honestly I am very disappointed. My fiancé bought a ring to propose to me from the southland, mi store. He bought it in October but I didn't receive it until mid February. Within the two months I have had the ring it has been in repair twice. Each time taking 2 weeks. The first repair it looked like they melted the gold and just stuck a diamond in. The second time was to fix the first repair and ANOTHER diamond that fell out. I just got my ring back Monday. They gave me my ring back with yet another diamond missing! Not to mention they were rude to my fiancé and I. Today we will be taking it back to the original bought location to see if they will allow us to pick another ring since this one clearly can't be fixed right. If that doesn't work I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's very disappointing considering it has been in repair longer than on my finger. read more

Before this, I had never been to Helzberg Diamonds and I will never go back again!! I was looking to buy a ring and also to repair my 14K yellow Gold Wedding ring. After handing my wedding ring to them for repair, I found a ring I wanted to purchase for $899.00. I went home to get my husband and I found a online coupon for $100 off a purchase of $400.00 or more. It was a simple coupon with no exclusions. When I brought my husband in, all of the sudden the price of the ring went from $899 to $1169.00. they wouldn't let me use the coupon for clearance items, Even though the coupon didn't say that ,also they added additional charges, like sizing and setting the stone and a Helzberg warranty, What LIARS! I left unhappy and without a new ring. They still had my wedding ring for repair but I figured it was safe because it was a simple resizing and prong repair. It took weeks for the resizing and to put a new 6 prong head on it. I am agoraphobic and suffer from aniexty, so it is extreemlly hard for me to get to the mall to take cake of this. I had such dread dealing with this and could not believe it when I picked up my 14K gold ring and the whole head of prongs was crooked and tilted I had to then resend it back in before leaving for vacation. Rushing to get ready for vaca, I didn't notice when my husband picked it up that my once 14K gold ring was now a white gold ring. I don't know what they did or what happened, but my ring was totally changed!!!.and still, the prong head was still crooked and tilted. I trusted them with my fine jewelry....I am so hurt and disappointed. They are not a reputable jeweler. They are a fast food Jewelry store, and not a very good one. They kept blaming everyone else but themselves. they would not except responsibility, in fact they blamed me saying" they didn't want to ever touch my ring again and that they could not satisfy my expectations". My experience was devastating! They never even offered a refund. Basically, They were saying" too bad so sad for you"! So , If you love your jewelry, "DON'T GO TO HELZBERG" I never will again ".
