A very pleasant pub with lots of cask ale choice. Normally 8 on at any one time but very quick rotations so there is normally something new and interesting to try. 3 Keg lines that have recently been installed offering a few craft beers to supplement a relatively good if basic bottle fridge. Frodsham being a lager drinking town there is a good selection to suit all lager drinkers.
A small wine and whisky selections. Not bad but well above average.
Prices are average for a bar of this type and in this sort of location. They have a restaurant upstairs which i have never visited.
Staff generally are nice although not particularly knowledgeable about all the beers they put on, This if forgiveable as the service is mostly great.
The general seating in the bar could be more comfortable but is adequate.
One of the better pubs in Frodsham and definatly worth a visit if your in town. read more
