They have large, medium and small washers (front loaders) and some top loaders. Plenty of seating, wheeled carts to easily go from inside to tour car. A quarter dispenser if you don't have quarters but they also take cards for convenience. There is a restroom and even a TV to help pass the time. They do have soap onsite but I brought my own. The washers don't lock so you have to be there when the loads finished but it's a pretty quick machine 24ish minutes. I love that it's dog friendly and I can walk across the street for a delicious burrito! I used it on weekdays and timing was perfect but weekends it looks like it can get kinda busy. Even though my washer is now fixed, I think I'll still be coming back once in a while.

Just ok, not great anymore…read more Ok, since my last review the place has gone slightly down hill. New owners had taken over and the place was cleaned up and modernized. They haven't kept it up.the TV, cable and wi-if have been "temporarily out of service" for months. I surmise it is in an effort to keep the homeless from camping here, as they had been. It seems they don't clean up as often or as well. You have to be cautious of any debris left in the machines ... dirt, pet hair, grease, etc. which I guess is 'normal' for a laundromat, but I find it a little disconcerting. So, an ok place to do your laundry. Patrons are generally nice people, most keep to themselves but everybody seems willing to help if you need it. Tonight the place is flooding and maintenance is "on the way". There are machines out of order .... not the best place to come anymore.

This is not your mama's laundromat - or is it? It had been a lifetime since I'd been without the…read moreluxury of a washer and dryer, and then one day I finally admitted I'd been living in denial with a faulty machine. Loads of clothes had piled up, months of unfinished work was in dire need of being tended to. I went with my daughter, who said there were plenty of machines and convinced me that we could knock it out together. We were greeted by an attendant who came to our vehicle with a laundry cart to assist us. Upon entering, I was shocked at how clean everything was! We unloaded our hampers and went on to determine what size machines we needed to tackle the job ahead of us. We used an 8 load machine for the overabundance of towels I'd somehow accumulated, then selected a 6 load for colors, and a 4 load for jeans. The payment process was a breeze, no more plugging a roll of quarters, these Speed Queens were set up for ePayment. Better yet, if you're a frequent customer, you might want to download the app for bigger savings and deals. I should've known that the power and temperature of these commercial dryers would be intense, but let me share a lesson - DO NOT use high heat unless you want your clothes to shrink! That cute babydoll tee can now literally fit a baby. While waiting for our clothes to finish, we watched Minions on the big screen tv. What was missing? Screaming kids running around. This place was super chill, and never got too busy, but we got there early evening on a weekday. By the time we had all of our clothes folded, it was pushing 9 pm. Deadline for the last load in is 8:30 pm. Shout out to Babette, who was super helpful sharing the info about the app, and spent the rest of the time cleaning dryer vents and wiping everything down while we were there. The experience was pleasant and I was finally able to get all of my laundry cleaned in one evening.

I'm talking to the owner, they had a grand opening for new ownership in October 2019 and the whole place is spruced up. The new owner used to do appliance repair so this was a great fit. In addition to the extremely clean interior, notable are the price which are probably half what they should charge. It's a steal! In under 45 minutes I did so much laundry that it took me another half hour just to fold it all. They have soap on site and they also run a laundry service, washing clothing for you and charging by weight. The sitting area is nice and clean as well, with a few items you can purchase like soap and laundry, and a vending machine with a wide array of foods and drinks. Parking is also very convenient.

What can I say? Its a no-frills laundromat in Sherwood, alright. Not exactly the most convenient in…read moreterms of having the ability to be seated without someone dumping their wet/dry clothes all over the tables that are situated in the middle of the venue, but the place gets the job done. In addition, there are no card options (or even wash cards where you buy credit)- its all about the quarters here. So be prepared to bring cash to change into quarters, of which there are two change machines readily available. I had to learn the hard way, especially when my hotel up the street (Hampton Inn) didn't have either washer & dryer options nor quarters at the time. Quite a bit of available top loader washers & regular dryers here- at least two dozen in total. The dry cycles run on 7 minute increments per $0.25, and have variable heat adjustments. The washers are basic agitator systems w/o the new upgraded versions that do deep cleans. They are about $1.25 for a 30-minute cycle. The upside to this Wash Tub laundromat is that there are machines that accommodate large comforters and other duvet sizes. Saw it with my own eyes with couples doing their family's bed sheets + comforters. Again, the downside is perhaps the seating area. I moved a foldup chair to the corner next to the bathroom to do work on my laptop, only to hear someone blow out their bubble guts on the toilet due to diarrhea. Not exactly the best sound to hear, but whatever- that's what ear plugs are for! That, and you can easily sit in your car & wait without too much disruption from others. I will say that Washtub has good Wifi, and that there are outlets available by the change machines to charge your phone & other electronic devices. There is a Subway 60 feet to the left, as well as a Pub. Across the parking lot is a Taco Bell. Certainly a few food options to choose from when waiting. Yet I seriously doubt that they'll change your dollar bills into quarters. If you are plastic heavy, walk up the street 100 meters to the Wells Fargo ATM, get $20, and get that bill changed for quarters here.
