I have a quick story, it was about one week before Christmas and long story short, it was a rainy night and I locked myself out of my car. Torrence was a very big help. Not only did he allow me to use the biz phone to call for help, he offered his personal smart phone and did all that he could on his end to help. Clearly he understood the gravitas of the situation and it was greatly appreciated. Overall I enjoy giving BRAX Laundry Mat my personal and profession business. I remember the days of the Carousel, not only has the renovations been an improvement but the leadership of Max and Brad has improved things leaps and bounds. We are moving out of State and had to sell the W&D Unfortunately I sold our washer and dryer 1 week too early . It had been years since I needed a laundromat and I went searching on Yelp. So glad I found Brax in Oregon City! Clean, well maintained and, did I already say clean? LOL. The attendants take such good care of the environment; from dusting the floors to wiping down the washers and the folding tables on a regular basis. It took me just over an hour to wash, dry and fold 2 loads and during that time the attendants came around 3-4 times just cleaning and tidying up, making their rounds! Awesome! Long, but worth the read. First and foremost I've had nothing but amazing interactions with Employee James. He deserves-a riase. I have been coming here for a few months now, and am always happy with the staff and the cleanliness of this facility. Today I had started my wash and didn't see that there was an abundance of dog hair in the washer until I hit start. James came to my rescue and had me put it in another washer on their dime. He then proceeded to show me how to clean the washer before I use it. Good tip. He is so knowledgeable about the machines and the detergents and how they work together with the sanitizer washing system. Another good tip. The more I started reading the signs the more I fell in love with the owners of Braxton Laundry. They have an event called "LoveOne" where they cater twice a month to the homeless of a local shelter. They offer their laundry services, showers,food and they get toiletries and needed resources. And they collect new and gently used sporting goods for the local youth. I got watch James interact with other customers and he is always pleasant and kind and honestly he goes above and beyond for everyone. Upon talking with him more he is so happy to be working here and has nothing but positive feedback regarding the boys. lol Brad & Max. He states they often come in and check on their employees to make sure they're ok not stressed or overwhelmed. He said " they are like uncles to me." He also said " we're not just employees and dollar signs to them. We are family. If I could give this place , the employees and owners more than 5 stars I would. Wow, what a great laundromat! I needed to wash some large blankets so I decided to come here for a quick wash and dry. I was so surprised what a nice facility this is. Everything is new, clean and maintained. Ive never seen such a nice laundromat. There was a staff member working, and she was so friendly and helpful. She was making popcorn for the customers and helping people if they had questions about the operation of the machines. If you need a placed to do some laundry, this is it. I can't say enough great things about Brax Laundry in Oregon City. Maybe because it is: The cleanest laundromat I've even been in. The equipment is first notch (Speed Queen), the bathrooms are super clean, there are nice places inside to sit and chat, nice views from their big windows and many amenities to choose from if needed. But even more than that the personal are delightful! Max Sabo the owner has done a wonderful job selecting his employees and there could be no one better than James. The Bad: Never in my entire life have I paid $12.25 to WASH one singular load of laundry. That doesn't even count the dryer, which is definitely cheaper but you have to split the one load you've just washed into 3-4 smaller loads. For that price, I expected Marie Condo herself to come aid us in our laundry organizational endeavors. This is truly late stage capitalism at its finest. Not only that, but you have to download an app to be able to pay, or purchase a bizarre pre-paid debit card to run the machines. For neurodivergent people this is an absolute nightmare of additional steps that made me want to turn around and go literally anywhere else. The Good: The staff are super helpful and friendly. I'm not sure of the gentleman's name but he was very sweet and basically walked us through the high-tech process of LAUNDRY without making us feel stupid. That really eased the anxiety of the situation. There's also a snack area, which helps any situation. All in all, this was the single most bougie laundromat I've ever experienced and am not going to make a habit of utilizing the facilities, but I can see the appeal if you're either A: an eliteist, B: an alien visiting from another planet, or C: an anthropologist studying the culture of bizarre laundry experiences. read more

I have so many great things to say!!! The owners are genius (the set up is spectacular) and James was so kind and let me ask so many questions and watch each time he cleaned the "laundry tunnels"!!! It is clean and smells amazing...I was fascinated and beyond...by everything I learned today from ozone and tunnels to giving to our community. It was first time going into the laundromat in years. Fortunate enough I didn't need one because I got to use in-laws washer and dryer whenever I have problems with mine. So I was very nervous and hesitant to go to the laundromat because I'm just a shy person and having trouble asking for help. When I went in to the Brax Laundry (Tuesday morning) first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. Very nice and clean and bright and very welcoming atmosphere. Then of course I have no idea how things work, I had to go to the office(?) where attendants are and had to ask what to do and how to do. The staffs there were very helpful to me and taught me how to use the machine, how to pay(app or make a laundry card there using cash, credit/debit card and EBT card) and pointed which washer will work for my family blanket I got from Costco(washer 15 worked good for me). Normal wash took 24mins and it was I believe $6, and 30mins of medium heat dryer was $1.50. I saw the staff kindly and patiently helping other elderly gentleman at the washer at the end of my laundry process. I didn't ask cuz I was not in need but it seems like they have service of wash,dry and fold as well. Very nice and clean with helpful staffs and I'd go back again for another blanket laundry. I highly recommend to other people. read more

An amazing new laundry mat with state of the art features, an app to control your laundry. A clean, nice place with new machines and a friendly atmosphere. When I tried to use a big machine, the owner Max was there to help me to keep from wasting money on a machine I did not need. While my stuff was drying I was able to pop over to the store and keep track of when I needed to return. Knowing my comforter would probably need more time to dry, I added 5 minutes remotely. It was terrific. A great new addition to Oregon City and a laundry mat that people can feel safe in. read more
