It all started with a lie.
    Shanada W.

I am updating my review of this company. For just under two years I have been strung along about a hole that was left in the back of our couch. When I first noticed the hole, the couch wasn't even two years old, I was asked if I was sure that it was not there before (October 2018, move in day) and I knew that it was not there because in our old house as in our new house the back of the couch is exposed so I saw it everyday. I now see the hole everyday and it is beyond frustrating. In the move in October the movers also damaged a wall at the top of the stairs, they did not wrap our staircase life they did in their pictures, and I was told not to worry they have people who can fix it for us, no problem. When they were loading the truck they dented our fridge that was staying for the new homeowner. The front of our washer has rub lines in it, see picture. Those appliances were less than two years old. After they took pictures of the wall and couch and got their money they never mentioned the wall again. I ended up fixing the wall myself six months later because I got tired of looking at it. On to the couch and this one star update, I would give negative stars if I could. I waited and waited for the company to get in contact with me but it was radio silence on their end so I reached out. The owner Michael told me that they had an upholstery guy look at it and said that it could not be fixed and it was past their 30 day window of fixing the problem, first time I heard of a "fixing the problem window". He then told me that he would see about getting me a check for the couch anyway, they pay a certain amount by weight, knowing my couch is an oversized motorized recliner I knew it weighed more than the average so he wanted me to send him picture of the specks which I did. Nothing for weeks... I called he said that he didn't get them I resend them.... nothing. I call and talk to a female worker and she was so "concerned" and she took my information and promised she would call before the day ended, I'm still waiting. I had multiple conversations and text messages, from different phone numbers, with Mike and his staff about when I could receive my promised check or try to fix the problem but nothing. I have given my number and pictures multiple times to the same people and even given the my address so they can mail the promised check to me, even though they have our delivery address on file. At this point it is not about the money it is about the lies that I was told. This company, this entire company, lied to me for MONTHS with ease about sending me money for a problem that they caused. I kept getting in contact to try and make them keep their word but now they are not even answering the phone to me. I guess they thought I would give up and stop calling, no I will still continue until I get an honest answer. All I'm looking for is the truth. If from the beginning I was told the truth it would not be what it is today. A company should always "Say what you mean and mean what you say". If you want an honest company to move your memories and most prized possessions I say look elsewhere, this company can't and in my case will never own up to the fact that they had no intention in keeping their word to a paying customer. Sincerely, A disappointed customer

Damage that was done to my home by the movers.

Good customer service is very important and I appreciate it! The movers themselves are good guys ...I had two sets. First day, no one ever showed up, no one ever called. I called them around 3 wondering what the deal was and was told just 30 more mins for hours until they finally showed up after 7pm (I had an infant needing to go to bed and it was 17 degrees outside in the dark) so not really moving conditions . They moved a couple essential pieces and were coming back Saturday. Mind you I would have just gone into work and rescheduled the move had they done the right thing and accurately assessed when they would show up. I told them they could come back Saturday but I wasn't paying a penny more for the move based on my dissatisfaction. Came Saturday and were packing up on schedule...when I realized they weren't padding any of the furniture...they said they weren't told to come with any supplies for wrapping furniture or packing supplies (to pack my kitchen), so then they had to wait for supplies to come and once they did 2 guys stood outside talking to the guy who brought them for 20 mins before they got started again. I told them to just finish up the work that they had already started and they could go. A mirror was broken and documented...I had new movers within a couple hours to finish the job. Monday morning rolls around and I'm outside in the freezing cold arguing with them because they charged my card again and didn't even bother to address my broken mirror. They argued with me about having to pay for an extra hour more of their time since they were at my house...ummm 1 day of missed work, 2 days of childcare, waiting for supplies to be delivered, having to hire new movers, a broken mirror, and they just helped themselves to charging my card for more time!!!

The movers broke many things that included antiques, put dry/bottled (both glass and plastic) into boxes with no sense of responsibility ruining food in the process. They have refused to be held accountable. The owner consistently yelled at me - I front of workers and even potential customers - because I held him accountable. Storage unit was designed to more than accommodate my belongings but the Packers stuffed my belongings in so tightly that it came the door at the facility I used, which did not hold me accountable but Two Men And A Truck. Very bad services that cost me a financial fortune and a great deal of stress and grief as I realized the damage the caused. Again, zero accountability, only deflection of responsibility throughout the experience. I do not recommend this moving company to anyone and have already steered two potential customers away by the pictures I took upon the arrival of my belongings and the poor shape and destruction of property this company created.

The…read moregreatest thing that you could've done was simply acknowledged how unprofessional your business was, apologized and acknowledge that this was not your best work. But instead, you choose to justify and add completely untruth statements about what occurred, especially regarding the service I purchased versus the service you rendered.. I advised you that I was doing a full two bedroom home move, and what I had to move was significantly less than that. You weren't there to witness the absolute chaos . As a you called after the 3 hours delay in response to my threat to cancel to offer an apology, I'm unclear as to why you are now trying to resend that in an effort to cover your unprofessionalism. At any rate, you are miserable, your company is unprofessional, and sadly you appear to be biting off of the good name of J. I. T. (Just In Time Movers) who I undoubtedly thought I was getting, but ended up with your unscrupulous and unprofessional company. At the very least, ensure that you are present before you start defending behaviors and actions that you were not present for, but clearly felt compelled initially on the phone to apologize for. Sadly, you have not addressed what was stated with regards to my GRANDSON having to assist and being expected to, the unprofessional conduct of your staff and your children running amuck throughout my house as child laborers. Additionally, my daughter said almost nothing to anyone because she was so irritated and disgusted with the entire process. I'm just glad that this experience is in the past for me, however I STRONGLY SUGGEST that future potential clients look at the pictures that reflect what was my horrible reality . I'm sure they say 1000 more words than I ever could. It's sad that you can't just accept that this was an absolute disaster and acknowledge that YOU WILL DO BETTER TO SHOW UP PROFESSIONALLY with and for future customers. ***Your response is a COMPLETE FABRICATION... We were overcharged, charged without our authorization,…read moreand left with broken furniture, damage to our home, and an overall horrible and unprofessional experience. The service ended up taking three times the estimated amount of time due to their unprofessionalism, poor planning, and unmotivated employees. To pack and move our 1 bedroom apartment, we were given an 8 hour estimate and told we would be charged by the hour at $230 per hour. (Of note, the average cost to move in this area is $40-150 an hour, but we were willing to pay more for the superior services this company promised- a promise that went unfulfilled). They began work at 9:40am worked until 3am on the first day, still did not finish, and were late to the job site the next day to complete the job. They worked for an additional 5 hours before they left without our knowledge and with furniture still needing to be moved. They ignored our phone calls and text messages. We thought they had stolen our property, but they ended up driving to our home without us and left it on the porch unattended in the rain. They claimed they did not have our phone number to call us and tell us they left which is false as they called and texted us multiple times throughout the day and could have easily walked over and told us they were leaving. We ended up being charged $3,116.50 and would have been charged an additional $2,686.86 if we had not told our bank to turn our card off. They took advantage of the hourly rate and took longer to get more money from us. They charged us for 8 hours before they even showed up to work, and then charged us again for additional time without discussing it with us. On the first day, one of the employees literally quit and walked off the job site. One of them also stole $70 out of my purse while I wasn't looking. This just proves the unprofessionalism of the owner and the employees he hires. I am a first time home buyer and am so disappointed in the amounts of scrapes, dents, and scratches left on my home and on our furniture. They owner himself tried to lift a dresser by the legs and snapped one of the legs off, completely breaking it. After complaining, they sent a check for $300 even though it was a $600 dresser. I can not say enough negative things about the "management" of this company. We tried calling to talk to the manager about our situation and left messages that were never returned. Turns out, the owner, Lung, was on site working on our move and still didn't speak to us or return our calls for concern. Lung is a liar and a scammer if he claims this company is the "best moving company in Columbus".
