I asked to start with a 30 minute massage but once the masseuse Fiona put her hands on me I knew this would be a really good massage experience and asked for a full hour. I was not disappointed. Fiona has a good knowledge of pressure points and knows the proper pressure to apply. She uses her hands, arms and fingers to give your muscles a thorough workout. She is capable of giving an almost chiropractic adjustment. When I left the office I was less stiff and felt much better. Fiona also has a very positive attitude and conveys that through her massage and any discussion we may have. She is a pleasure to be around. I blame myself for not stopping her from hurting me. The spots are painful more than a month later. Tui Na that I've had previously engages muscles by grasping and pulling, not by irritating nerves. I cannot recommend this woman's work, though she assured me that the pain was necessary to improve my function. I had the impression that she made it up as she went along.
