Christina worked quickly to get the repair approved and jumped through all of the hoops. They didn't even have the tire my car needed. Took my truck in for a transmission repair last year. At first, it seemed like the repair was in…read moregood order, however, less than three months later, it broke again. I paid roughly $2500 for the rebuild, and it breaks after only three months? Well, I took it back in, they fixed it, again, as it was under warranty. Five months later, it starts to slip. I take back in, this time, I checked the codes, and it showed something about a stuck shift solenoid, and they ignored me when I mentioned it. They "fixed" it, but it didn't seem right. Now I am questioning if I should have a full diagnostic at a proper dealership for my truck as it has broken yet again, and I'm reasonably certain I'm outside the warranty period, but no other Aamco is willing to look at it, insisting I go to the shop that did the initial work, and I don't want to pay another $2500 to maybe get another year out of my truck No.. I used to trust Aamco, not so certain I can now.
