The space is now available for rental and I found myself there for a wedding (in the role of officiant). I wandered around (since I have plenty of free time before ceremonies begin) and found where they store the various tables and chairs. I also saw the separate spaces that can be used for dressing rooms or dining areas. Gorgeous! The tall ceilings and intricate detail demand that you take a selfie. There is exposed brick, columns, a winding staircase and plenty other beautiful features. It has a great location on Telfair Street. The gates and the stone pathway as you walk up are great. The parking is tricky. You can park on the street and there is a small lot behind the building, but if you're expecting a large crowd they're sure to complain. However, directly across from the venue is the City's municipal building with plenty of parking. Also, downstairs are bathrooms and a dressing room. We used it to get ready. The venue also has a kitchen for caterers use and service elevators. Overall, great venue. Visit it anytime because it has lots of history too.

Horrible Communication!…read more I heard about this school from a friend. I decided to call and book for my son. When I initially called I spoke with a lady who told me that this course was a week long course and that I could pay extra to have the driving test administered there. That way at the end of the week my son would be able to get a drivers license if he passed. I thought..why not? I am thinking back to HS where you do both classroom and driving instruction each day. I tried to ask as many questions as I could, but the lady seemed put out that I was asking them and wasn't really forthcoming with anything other than answering what I asked. The week before my son was to attend, I was then told that no, the first week is instruction only and then you have to schedule to drive the following week. So I asked, this is a two week course instead of one? She told me it was 6 hours of driving, but it has to be scheduled, so more like an additional 2-3 days. On the day we drop my son off I am handed paperwork. I have to list all the days and times of availability for the next 6-8 weeks. What?! I was told a week, then a week and 6 hours.. now its 6-8 weeks before they can be scheduled to drive? The miscommunication is unbelievable. So unprofessional.
