When Art Nook started offering evening adult classes, I was the first person to sign up! Taking art to the next level, students are guided through learning a variety of methodologies: acrylic, pastels, colored pencil, watercolor... Classes are again designed for all experience levels, with specific projects in mind and 2-4 week timeframes, depending on the project. Learning how to "art" at Art Nook is amazing. It can be a fun night out, or you can make it completely immersive by joining the ongoing classes. The staff is great with all age groups and ability levels. Not even a moment of feeling uncomfortable like I didn't know what to do, the studio professions at this studio make you feel like one of the family right away. Amanda was an amazing instructor and made me want to learn more. The participants in the class were newbies, others who had taken some classes before and even a regular who has been coming to art classes given by 4P Studios for 8 years! Everyone was super friendly and very encouraging to everyone. I'm not, by nature, an artsy person but will definitely sign up for more classes at this studio. It would also be a great gift to sign yourself and a loved one or friend up with you for a class. It was $50 for the sign & 3 gnomes. I chose Easter, St Patrick's Day, and Patriotic. The class started at 1:30 and we finished about 4 hours later. You can come back another time and do 3 more Gnomes for $25. If you have a special project in mind you can contact them and they will help you create what you're looking for. I definitely want to come back and do so if their other signs. They have a lot of cute examples on their walls.

The place was apparently closed (we had mixed up which coffee shop it was on Google and thought it stayed open until 5pm) but the door was open. I opened the door, poked my head in, and asked the lady if they were open. She was polite and said no but they could sell me a bag of beans if needed. I said no thank you - Then out of nowhere the dog that stays in this building bolted toward me and out the door. My girlfriend was outside the building in the dirt parking lot with our new puppy just walking her around waiting for me. This dog of theirs in the building was unleashed and apparently uncontrollable because it got extremely aggressive, bolted out of the door by me before I could shut the door, and attacked our puppy. Luckily, it does not seem our puppy got bitten, but this is not acceptable as my girlfriend and our puppy were far outside of the building and way out in the parking lot - not even coming in. If you're going to have a dog in this place, please either be able to control it and not let it run outside of the building and attack other dogs or please keep it leashed. We will not be going back here due to this experience.

Horrible Communication!…read more I heard about this school from a friend. I decided to call and book for my son. When I initially called I spoke with a lady who told me that this course was a week long course and that I could pay extra to have the driving test administered there. That way at the end of the week my son would be able to get a drivers license if he passed. I thought..why not? I am thinking back to HS where you do both classroom and driving instruction each day. I tried to ask as many questions as I could, but the lady seemed put out that I was asking them and wasn't really forthcoming with anything other than answering what I asked. The week before my son was to attend, I was then told that no, the first week is instruction only and then you have to schedule to drive the following week. So I asked, this is a two week course instead of one? She told me it was 6 hours of driving, but it has to be scheduled, so more like an additional 2-3 days. On the day we drop my son off I am handed paperwork. I have to list all the days and times of availability for the next 6-8 weeks. What?! I was told a week, then a week and 6 hours.. now its 6-8 weeks before they can be scheduled to drive? The miscommunication is unbelievable. So unprofessional.
