This place is super fun, and needs to be on everyone's bucket list!…read more I've been here several times with family and friends and have had a great experience every-time. I highly recommend coming as early in the season as possible. #1 it's more enjoyable when you're not freezing to death. #2 the crowds get worse as the season goes on. There is a chart on the website that shows the busy days - use this!! The first time I came, it was late in the season and I stood in line for 3+ hours and was freezing! Since then, I have learned. Also, bring an extra jacket just in case. Everything is outside and it will get colder as the night goes on. As soon as you park, you get out of the car and are greeted with tall trees and eery music. You feel chills as you walk through the archway as "don't fear the reaper" is heard in the distance. You enter the village and wait in line as creepy figures hover around you. You'll board the wagon and I won't spoil it from there. All i will say is that the acting is on point and is very entertaining. They go all-out with everything and bring all the classics while also featuring new scares too. The blackout building and the new section (area 51 or something) is really really fun. The later is very interactive and the actors will touch you but it's so fun! I like to go once every year or two. It's a little expensive but it's worth it for sure. It's 10x better than any other haunted attraction i've ever been to. You are MISSING OUT if you don't go at least once!

It's not scary it's just a lot of noise. Mainly banging on things and yelling in your face. Was told on the phone it would be 25.00 for 4 of us got up there and it was 50 per person. Ya rather not go again there are better ones out there

They've never been and I promised it would be a blast. Got in line for the Orphan House at 7:30. Line was fairly short but still took us 20 minutes. Problem is they were only letting a single party through at a time, so if you only had two people, that was it. Next party even if it was two people, had to wait 3-5 minutes before being let in instead of just letting them go together. Not a big deal if the line is relatively short but one can see how this will snowball very quickly. On top of it, they introduced "speed passes" for $8 a pop exacerbating the wait for the rest. Idea is like a Disney fast pass but they don't have the experience at line control to handle it well Anyway, was fun, we were all giggling after getting out. Made our way to Psycho Swamp and got in line a few minutes after 8:00. We were about 6 feet beyond the "45-60 min" wait sign. And it was moving at a SNAIL PACE. All the while the "speed pass" line kept moving while us peons were left literally standing. We did not get to the front of the line until 10:15. TWO F'ING HOURS! We would have waited longer but a nice group in the speed pass line let us go with them. It was after 10:30 by the time we were done and the third attraction, the Motel had an even LONGER line. I didn't see the wait sign but at best estimate it would have been another 2 hour wait at least. It would have been well after midnight when we were done, and absolutely no time to do a fourth had we bought a Pick 4. And with two young kids we could not stay any longer. An absolutely miserable experience. And the cherry on top of this glorious night....no refunds. So all told, we spent $160 to stand in line for 2 and half hours and 30 minutes of "fun". Two stars because the actors were great and sets were done really well.

What makes this place truly special is that you can dig up your own sunflower plants and take them home. It is such a unique, hands-on experience, and the staff makes it simple and fun. Just bring a pot or bag, choose your favorites, and enjoy the moment. Their sunflower festival and haunted house scene add even more charm, creating the perfect blend of peaceful nature and seasonal excitement. You had to purchase a ticket for $10 if you wanted to walk & pick your own Sunflowers. There is an indoor bar/barn. There were food trucks & vendors you could make purchases from. As well as a dj & karaoke. A live band was due to also perform, but I left when it had started to rain. The strawberry lemonade from one of the food trucks was great for a hot afternoon. The apple cider donuts I purchased (6 donuts), but I received about 8 different sizes & a few were not fully cooked through. I didn't find this out until I had already left. This was a great event that I am looking forward to again next year!

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I worked here and tried my best to do a good job and even volunteered…read morea lot of my own time and energy as well as my husband and my children. One day last year I came to work ready to scare and in a great mood when one of the actors that have been there for years approached me as we were waiting to get our makeup done and informed me that my husband was acting inappropriately with some of the other actors the previous night, and I was obviously shocked and confused.. So I was trying to figure out what exactly was going on as quietly as possible even though I heard everyone whispering and pointing at me and then one actor that I knew personally started telling everyone loudly about how my husband always cheated on me and how she wasn't surprised if he was again etc. (nice friend right?) so by that time my husband walked into the makeup room and I asked him what was going on and in the heat of the moment and given his past of cheating, I slapped him... not my best moment. Once everything was said and done, we figured out afterwards that it was all a big misunderstanding by one of the seasoned actors and my so called friend made it 10 times worse by telling everyone our business. It was done and over with and everyone let it go, including my husband considering he married me this past March. Fast forward to this season, we helped build the haunt as much as possible with working etc. but every time I was around our boss he treated me differently and I just felt like he didn't like me or want me around. I tried to brush it off and continued to come up with my husband and help out however I could, but when someone doesn't like you, especially your boss it's not something you can brush off or ignore. I decided to confront him on Facebook messenger because I didn't want to feel uncomfortable for the entire season because I couldn't do my best job in that state of mind. Well he completely dismissed everything I said and made it about where he put me in the haunt, making it look like I just didn't want to be outside in the rain etc when that's not what it was about at all. So I felt like I had no other choice but to quit and my family told me that if he wasn't going to resolve whatever issue he had with me before opening that they would have to leave also (they are my husband and my son so of course they weren't happy with how I was being treated) but our boss accused me of "acting like a victim for no good reason and forcing my family to quit" but after I did quit he finally admitted that "People would be more welcoming to me if I didn't cause so much drama last year and slap one of his employees and friends" So he has been holding a grudge since last year and I guess I was just supposed to continue to work there and feel uncomfortable and unwanted all season?? There is no HR department to talk to... If you do work here don't rub the management the wrong way or you will be shunned for life -shrug- I miss scaring people and the great actors I worked with
