I recently had an entry level Trane replace after eight years of service. The unit developed a leak and required filling every three years. I also had ducts that were falling apart from inferior materials that were installed when the house was built in 1994. Kenny came out to look at the job and gave me options from replacing the ducts and repairing to replacing the unit. I originally wanted the leak and ducts to be repaired, but Dwayne (owner) was onsite and offered me a screaming deal to replace the unit with all new ducts. He explained it would be easier if they were to start from ground zero to build a system around a new unit. They showed me pictures of the bad install job the previous contractor did causing the unit to prematurely fail. They were here for three days because they did everything right. The last contractor did the HVAC within a day and a half, so ICM takes a lot of pride in their work. This company mainly designs, builds and services commercial properties, so doing residential is a small part of what they do. They truly care for you as a customer and communications were excellent throughout the process. Prices are fair, but I went with the cheapest bid on my last AC and it didn't last. I got what I paid for, expensive lesson to learn.

I am a repeat customer having relied on Josh always quickly responding to any concern or need for repairs and particularly his bi-yearly check-ins on filter situations. Since I was experiencing problems with my older HVAC system which seemed to be related to deteriation of the probably originally installed ducting decades ago ( pictures are always provided for information) , Josh and I discussed the cost of repairs to my ducting system alone as opposed to the cost of replacing my aging HVAC system including ducting repairs. Having seen the extent of the ducting repairs alone which would really continually be needed, I decided to move along on both. Th prices were good and fair and I was already familiar with the quality of their work. Those who work for ICM are skilled and knowledgeable as well as considerate and friendly. They even provided cards to my neighbors to let them know if there was too much noise, .they would try to adjust! There never was a noise complaint. The email pictures of my brand new completed attic ducting and HVAC systems are amazing - and reassuring - and completed within the 3-4 day working estimate. Josh is the most caring and knowledgeable and customer oriented person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing or working with. He included me in any possible changes or adjustments needed. I have no worries that the new HVAC and ducting systems now installed will serve well. And if there ever is a problem, I can count on Josh to be there with a solution. The great part of Fuse: The workers and electricians themselves seem high quality, thoughtful, and don't skip steps. They are also polite and professional What Fuse can improve on: Compared to other contractors I've worked with, their communication and project management was not too great. It was hard to understand where we were in the project and when things would happen which made it hard to plan around. For example, one day, I happened to be outside the house and found them preparing to dig a trench (through my neighbor's yard!) to get to my panel. Another example is that even with several different requests to understand the broader timeline, I never really understood when things would be done and what 'done' is. Lastly, billing: it felt like they use a third party for billing. Some folks called me to close out the project but it was clearly not done. They didn't know much about the project and had to call me back after talking with Fuse/other workers at Fuse and also there were some charges they didn't realize were already charged. Overall, they will give you a very competitive bid (in my experience) and the quality of work seemed high. Just be prepared to be a bit confused along the way.

However, only one was thoroughly addressed; the second had indoor and outdoor filters that were never cleaned and were filled with debris and dust. When that unit failed to perform again, it was almost impossible to get All Pro back out. We resorted to working with a different company (for another hefty fee!), whose technician discovered the clogged filters, as well as three leaks that needed addressing. All of this during a horrible, triple digit heatwave. We are the first to compliment companies who do a great job! I called Handy Heating & Air for my Sprinkler project. They have a $79 special to "Evaluate…read moreSprinkler System Performance, Evaluate Sprinkler Heads, Evaluate Sprinkler Nozzles and Valves, Evaluate Electrical Timer, and MAKE ADJUSTMENTS as necessary for maximum efficiency." This special is what enticed me to call them. I also told the dispatch I need to convert one of my sprinklers into a drip system. I asked the dispatch if there's a fee to provide me an estimate. He stated that the $79 special will cover both sprinkler evaluation and estimate. We agreed that they'll send an agent to "evaluate my sprinklers and provide an estimate" for the project. They sent one of their agents to my house. He looked at the area where the drip system will be needed and asked what I needed done. He then took pictures. He did not do any EVALUATION or ADJUSTMENTS on my sprinklers. Before he left, he told me someone will send me the estimate later, to which they did. To my surprise they billed me the full $79 + payment fee of $2.37, a total of $81.37. I was taken aback for the fee when nothing was done except giving me an estimate. When I protested, they gave me a bunch of excuses and sent me a partial copy of my texts with the dispatch which did not show the full messages that were sent back & forth. I offered to pay half but to no avail. This is not a good way of forming a relationship with a new customer who could become a loyal one. Don't be fooled with their fake ads, selective reviews and empty promises. You'll be sorry. You are warned!
