The store is located in the commercial complex along Dillingham near Costco and the Community College. They have free parking on street level, but you'll have to walk up three levels. You're better off using the roof parking ramp at the neighboring building and walking over to the store. When they're open, it's hard to miss! The door is a bright blue and they bring a lot of their wares outside on the lanai. It's a small shop with more merchandise arriving regularly. They have a large selection of action figures and toys, used DVDs, trading cards, comic books and other pop culture collectibles. Don't come looking for anything specific, just see what they have! They have a great selection of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and other popular characters! Hi Collector is owned by two brothers who share the business. Both are incredibly friendly and happy to have a brick and mortar store after years of just being virtual. They make great use of their space with every inch covered with items. Our first visit there was a hot day, and they provided complimentary drinks for the customers while shopping. Prices are very fair, no need to bargain. Located inside a small plaza near Ala Moana (Piikoi st.) They share a private parking area with Cho Dangs Honolulu and Nijiya Market. They have a wide variety of items that changes constantly and something new available at the shop. Once you set your eyes on something rare, I recommend buying it instead of waiting because I guarantee you it will not be there the next time you visit. I also advise that the store can get really expensive because these are mostly imported goods from Japan. So spend wisely! Sales and discounts are also provided, but on rare occasions. After we hung up she called back and invited me to go there today after her brother's baseball game. Sure I replied without hesitation. She had a friend sleepover so 4 of us entered and we purchased 6 Labubus. The exciting macaron is hidden in a box in a sealed bag, unseen so it's like the surprise and suspense keeps building up. Her friend wanted mine called Sesame, you could tell by the expression on her face...so I let her switch and exchanged it for her green monster. I had secretly wanted the light blue or light teal one I saw on the pop mart app. Even sweetie's mom wanted mine and said she'd switch it for her white one. I told them to Jan Ken Po. Hubs came along so when they said aloha charms next I gave the excuse I had to feed hubs since it was lunch time. Many of their locations are pop-ups around the holidays, but this one is going to be a permanent fixture at International Marketplace. It's located on the second story near the Banyan Tree; with big open windows it's hard to miss all the colors inside. Parking is validated for purchases of $10 or more, but it's much easier to get here walking around Waikiki. Their stores sometimes are overpriced, or charge more than similar stores. Despite the visitor heavy area, their prices seemed on par with what I would expect. At the time of this writing, they're having a 40% almost all of the store, which makes prices on some items even cheaper. Check sales on your next visit. They have all kinds of toys: action figures, ships, dolls, higher end collectibles for adults, board games, card games, puzzles, calendars, and cheap odds and ends near the checkout at the back. I had called to see if I can purchase the Marvel holiday pack the a day earlier than release on their website and pickup the same day, and the person on the phone said I could. Only to arrive, the rude employee told me he's unable to sell, and than he talked to his colleague(on slack on the spot), and he's colleague said he was under the impression if I just wanted to buy stuff online and pickup the same day, which isn't what I specifically asked for. So the employee tried to brush me off, a paying customer. 2) If you want to go to events: Don't. The same employee runs events and he's incredibly rude. Hes got a long grey goatee and long grey hair. Very disgruntled. He literally yelled at me because I couldn't hear him because of the event going on. As I approached the same disgruntled employee, I was trying to inform him that the app told me to see him, and he immediately just asked if my name was on screen, which it was(even before I scanned the QR), and replied saying yes, and he told me that I don't need to keep going up to the front and that I need to calm down and relax. I'm calm enough to not get tilted by a salty disgruntle worker, but this message is a reminder to him and others, of his attitude, and that I've seen other reviews of his work ethic. I wouldn't recommend attending any events from here.

Located in Pearlridge Mauka, near Macys, this store is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily except on Sundays when they close at 6. They are an anime store, with a lot of inventory of toys, action figures, and other type of collectibles. They are on the more expensive side, but tbh honest what isn't? You may find a better deal at maybe animation magic upstairs but I feel like Mini Q has a better selection and is geared more towards anime. The workers there are also very nice and helpful. Just as a tip, I just call them to ask if they have what I want in their store or something equivalent. They offer good recommendations when possible and even suggested I check out Razor when they didn't have the item I wanted in stock.

Just be careful not to knock anything over!
