Here there are tons of shops, flower shop, Matas, a branch of Faraos Cigar (comic book / hobby shop), Lagkagehuset, Bagel House, a 7-11 and even Skousen on the far end of the street, so if you feel like buying a dishwasher and an eyeliner when going / getting off this station - YOU CAN. I feel like I know this station pretty much all my life when in reality I just spent my days here 5 days a week for two years when I was studying in DTU. Although Lyngby is rather boring city (less boring compared to Glostrup, obviously), at least the train station isn't.

The last of the inner city stations (meaning all but one of the S-trains stop here, this goes for…read moreany station between Svanemøllen in the north to Dybbølsbro in the south), the platform area has a sort of old school feel to them, you can sort of sense the original architecture of the 1930s when the S-trains were first constructed. The station building itself is fairly nondescript and somewhat worn down. Loads of bicycle parking outside, which is a plus for commuters, what is less great is that the parking area is apparently a smorgasbord for bike thieves, know a lot of people who have lost bikes or parts of bikes from here. There's quite a cute little coffee stand outside, so you're not forced to get the 7Eleven coffee inside if you want a coffee for your train ride. Navigation is pretty easy, there's one platform for southbound trains (going towards Copenhagen and beyond) and one for northbound trains. Pick the right one and you can't go wrong, especially if going to Nørreport or København H, as all southbound trains stop at these two stations. Very easy to explain to any you out-of-town visitors.

I personally find it highly irritating that it is impossible to catch the train (direction forum) after getting off the 250S.... It is timed so that you have exactly not enough time to make the train and have to wait. In the summer it's fine, but in he winter, with a child,etc... It's a shame! FYI-The elevator is extremely slow at this station. Overall, nothing special at this station-but having spent quite some time here, I try to see the positive sides too:)

With above there are a kiosk available as well, but it seems like a small & deserted station. There is quite a bit of construction work ongoing in & around, so in assuming there might be some improvements, but will need to update my review when it is completed
