The last of the inner city stations (meaning all but one of the S-trains stop here, this goes for…read moreany station between Svanemøllen in the north to Dybbølsbro in the south), the platform area has a sort of old school feel to them, you can sort of sense the original architecture of the 1930s when the S-trains were first constructed.
The station building itself is fairly nondescript and somewhat worn down. Loads of bicycle parking outside, which is a plus for commuters, what is less great is that the parking area is apparently a smorgasbord for bike thieves, know a lot of people who have lost bikes or parts of bikes from here.
There's quite a cute little coffee stand outside, so you're not forced to get the 7Eleven coffee inside if you want a coffee for your train ride.
Navigation is pretty easy, there's one platform for southbound trains (going towards Copenhagen and beyond) and one for northbound trains. Pick the right one and you can't go wrong, especially if going to Nørreport or København H, as all southbound trains stop at these two stations. Very easy to explain to any you out-of-town visitors.
