After hurricane Ian, we noticed the wall had fallen toward the lake about 1". When I called her early in 2024 Donna asked we text photos. After sending the photos we called her back and she said we have been putting walls/pavers in for years and have never had any problem, and we no longer travel that far (Port Charlotte). She said she would confer w her husband and get back to us. Never have heard back from her. After this past season and 2 additional hurricanes, we returned to find the wall had fallen in about another inch. We contacted 2 local paver companies for repair estimates, each over $4000). We agreed to dismantle the wall and found no sand or rock support under the wall of any kind! I highly recommend being on site if you choose to use this company and if there is an issue, good luck!

I was really impressed by the reviews on this company. They answered the phone professionally and…read moresent out a nice young man to give me an evaluation. I then Received a call my the rep informing me that the quote was a little high given that they used a sub for the work I needed. The quote was 38 a ft to replace a drip edge, making the cost of $5000 for the 145 ft I needed replaced. I was surprised as the rep said this was an easy job and would be done in a day .Since this was above my budget I asked how much to do the front of my house as it was the worst spot, the then quoted me for the 30 ft job $2500 ,what 20% of the footage and half the price of then entire house! I asked why they jumped from $38 a ft to $88 a foot and did not get an ans, I then asked to speak with the owner of which the rep replied you do not get to speak to the owner because I do not like the quote. I called the main office and asked for the owner of which they were reluctant to give me his name. The name is available on line so I did not understand their hesitation. I have been in business for over 35 years and I have Never turned down a request to talk to any of my customers or potential customers . Why would an owner of a business refuse the opportunity to speak to a potential customer? So it has been a week since my request and zero response from the owner or his company. Given this company behavior I had no choice but to give them this reviewed. I know if the customer service is bad before you give them your money it will not be good after they have it. Shame I wanted to use them based on initial impression.

*Never saw him after initial estimate meeting. *I couldn't…read morecommunicate with workers due my inability to speak their language. *He sent a 4" roof vent ( for shingle roof) instead of a 6" roof vent ( for tile roof) so the workers just cut off the tiles so it would fit. That resulted in water above the vent to run into the attic. *They did a tear off and much of the debris fell into flower beds and killed several plants. *For weeks after completion nails were found in the lawn, resulting in three flat tires for my lawn maintenance man's tractor. *Martineau refused to go on the roof until after final inspection. There were problems I wanted to show him. *I talked to the inspector and showed him my concerns. This resulted in a one month delay, as the roof failed inspection three different times. *The material used as tucking did not match the tile. Each batch they made was a different color. The whole look of the roof ended up looking like a patchwork. *I did not approve of the owners language. *He refused to compensate my lawn maintenance man for tire replacement. * I would never wish to use DR Martineau for any type of work.
