Helen's has fast become a university 'local', with many students making use of their 'fry up' after a heavy night out. It's sure to be packed after any big night such as Hallowe'en or end of term so you're best avoiding the bakery at these times if you want a quiet lunch.
The warm hearted staff are somewhat motherly to the usual suspects hiding behind their hot mugs of tea. A top tip though is to have change as sometimes handing over notes can cause a bit of a wait if the bakery has been busy.
The bakery's location on the Ormeau Road means that you can park down any of the side streets or in the univeristy area and walk a few minutes before arriving at the front door.
