I had a co-pay of $4.00 that I was given a call about 7 months after my visit. When I asked for the bill to be mailed to me the person I spoke with said it wasn't worth the stamp to send it, but would email it me, and sent it to me on 04/21/17. I then received another email on June 2nd saying they were going to send me to collections for my $4.00 co-pay. The thing that upset me was that I have been a client of theirs for a number of years, and to send me a nasty gram via email for $4.00 has caused me to seek eye care somewhere else. It was the principle behind it. I could have paid when I came to see them in August I have never not paid them. The other thing that was upsetting was they had told me was that I would be refunded for the contact fitting that my daughter had, but because she was so young was having problems getting the contact in. When I said I didn't want the money back just the ability to get it done this coming year she said they couldn't do it. I do not like being told one thing, and then another months later. The doctor is great, but the fact his staff is allowed to treat long standing paying clients this way speaks volumes.

I was greeted by a very pleasant and efficient receptionist who checked me in swiftly. I was then collected by Hannah, the doctor's assistant, who was very friendly and, again, exceedingly efficient! My optometrist, Dr. Rioux, was excellent. She is friendly, highly efficient (are you gathering the theme of friendly and efficient?!) and informed me of all the steps she was taking beforehand, so I knew what to expect and how to be a good patient. After the exam, I met with Connie who helped me choose the right pair of glasses and finished my appointment. I highly recommend Ricky Mountain for a thorough and very pleasant experience. I have also been to the Missoula location, which is just as friendly and efficient, and a larger space.

Several family members have had cataract surgery with amazingly positive results. He provided me with excellent glaucoma monitoring and care. I've required emergency care due to an accident with brush slapping my eyes while hunting and he responded immediately. We are 100% satisfied with the wonderful care he has provided. I strongly recommend Dr. Berbos and Mountain View Eyecare. I am suspicious of the group of negative reviews dated one year ago that appear to be trying to smear him negatively. They look phony! Could those one-time reviews be trying to competitively attack him? Dr. Berbos is a MD and ophthalmologist, not an optician, and provides outstanding medical care! I know!

I was really nervous and apprehensive and anxious to have this check and from the time I entered the office until I left the staff constantly reassured me and made me feel comfortable. Kara and her staff were very thorough in educating me about what I can do to prevent skin damage and they continuously told me what they were doing while they were doing the exam which really put me at ease. They made me an appointment for an hour from when I called to get me in quick. I got there and the receptionist told me they'd work with the out of state insurance and I was set in. The doctor looked at what had happened and fixed me up with a temporary crown in less than 5 minutes and told me I was all set. He also said that since I was out of state not to worry about any charge, but told me to make sure to call him if I had any other issue before I left. Amazing customer service, friendly dentist and quick to get down to things!
