After being a loyal customer for more than 3 years, I met Melissa (the self-proclaimed manager). I…read moreasked a few questions about my renewal and my options for adding on another car. She kept telling me that she couldn't tell me how much it was going to cost. She could not even give me a rough estimate. This seemed odd because every other time Blair assisted me pleasantly and provided all of the information and quotes when I asked. How can someone make a decision between liability and full coverage if they don't know the difference in price? Melissa was not trying to help me. She was combative, arrogant and unprofessional. She did not work to solve my problems, instead she just flat out kept saying, "we can't do that. - no, we can't do that." Usually managers offer solutions and try to help the customer. Melissa did not. She is not management material. Now, Blair did help me.. she answered my questions and came up with a solution. (Funny how the manager is supposed to be the one to help, not the employee.) One thing though... when I asked if someone from there could call me the next day to provide me with another quote. I was advised that I should call them. If they want my business, how hard is it to schedule my name and number on their planner and reach out the following day? It's as if I need to bow down to them to give them my money because they are too busy with all of the other customers. I guess three years being a loyal customer doesn't mean you are going to have any extras - even if that extra is just a courtesy call with a quote (ultimately leading to more money for the Insurance Doctor.) huh... makes you think. Do they really want my business?

I first discovered them nearly 10 years ago when I serendipitously was put in touch with them to get homeowners insurance, and no matter what, they've always provided amazing customer service. The agents have done a great job at finding me excellent pricing while ensuring great coverage. For instance, after a few years I needed to make a change to my homeowners insurance, and my agent walked me through the options and did a great job of explaining the pros and cons, their opinion on what working with each vendor was like, and answered all my questions thoughtfully and honestly. Their patience and "non-salesman-y" approach is just the best. Additionally, because I've always had such a positive experience with my homeowner's insurance, I also bought business insurance through them. Again, I've had a stress-free experience. Whenever I've had a concern or question, they've been there with the kind of personal touch that I just never would have expected from an insurance agency. No matter what the situation, they've helped me navigate through in a way that gives me confidence. I don't worry with the help of VPIA, which is about the highest complement I can give anyone!
