Honest Disclaimer: I am reviewing my 2nd experience. My 1st did not go so well but it was mostly due to the therapist and not the business itself. I felt that to give an honest review, I needed to try another again to get a better feel. My appointment was 4:45pm. I showed up a little early and they let me into the cryotherapy room and took the time to explain to me the process. I had never done cryo before so I did the lowest setting and that was quite an experience. I appreciate how easy it was, that you generally do it yourself and the headphones for music. Not a fan of the cold but I can deal with 2:30 of it for the health benefits. After that, I sat in the very serene waiting room for my therapist. In there, you have comfy chairs, can get some water or tea and you also see the beds where they do other services. I was checked in on a couple times by an employee before my 5pm massage and appreciated the attentiveness. Before the massage, I used the restroom and was very impressed at how spacious, clean and modernized it was. My therapist greeted me slightly before 5pm and led me to the room. I greatly appreciated the punctuality. This was a huge reason why my first time didn't go so well. She explained to me the process, asked how firm I wanted it and if I wanted to target any areas. I asked for upper body mostly. The massage table itself is so nice. It's automatic in moving up and down and it heats. Honestly; when you're face up with a cover over your eyes and they move the table down, feels like you're flying in the air. The massage was amazing. I didn't feel like any movements were wasted or just done to pass the time. Again, an issue with my first time. This felt like a myofascial release almost, which I love. The hot stones were a nice touch. My back and neck will definitely appreciate all the love it got and hopefully have benefits in the short term. To the therapist Belkis, you're a rock star. I have a membership that I normally use at another Massage Heights location, but while traveling for work I decided to visit this Porter Ranch location because it was conveniently close to where I was staying. When I checked in, I was asked to complete intake forms again, which seemed unusual since my information should already have been on file through the Massage Heights system. I also specifically asked multiple times whether my membership would be honored here and was reassured that it would. To start with the positive, the service provider was excellent and did a great job. Unfortunately, the issue came at checkout. Only after my session was complete was I informed that, although my membership could technically be used at this location, the pricing structure was different and I would be responsible for paying the difference. That distinction was never clearly explained beforehand. In hindsight, I should have clarified the pricing details in advance, but the confusion felt understandable since I booked through the same Massage Heights app I always use. The experience ultimately felt misleading and could have been handled with much more transparency upfront. read more

1/1/2026 - Happy New Year! I was the first customer to enroll a monthly membership program in New Year 2026 and received a wellness treatment in both Lymphatic Drainage and HALO SALT THERAPY Service upon the store opened the door. Alyse enrolled me as a new membership program quickly and told me how to use the HALO SALT THERAPY Service, especially advised me to take off my polo shirt so that the infrared can penetrate my skin for better results. The manager also plays a key role how to apply a gift card into my membership program! 1/2/2026 - Today, I tried the CRYOTHERAPY that has my body gone through a subzero temperature in 2 minutes. As of now I am giving Heights Wellness Retreat 4 stars. They are conveniently located in the Porter Ranch shopping center near Ralphs and across from Shepherd Church, parking is plentiful and access is easy. The moment you walk inside, you're greeted with a stunning atmosphere. The aesthetics are beautiful, calming, and incredibly well thought out. Every visit I notice something new, the attention to detail is meticulous, and it really elevates the overall experience. I am a Wellness Member and have access to their wellness offerings, which I've experienced over the last month. Here is my personal feedback on each: Cryotherapy I've done cryotherapy here about 5 times now, and I'm finally starting to feel comfortable with it. I appreciate that they give you privacy instead of standing in the room with you it feels respectful and personal. However, I do think the cryo room could benefit from a little more structure. Suggestions: a visible wall timer would be helpful so I know how much time is left. Also, thicker gloves would make the experience more comfortable the current ones feel too thin. Lastly, slippers should be provided automatically instead of only upon request. I love that they now offer robes and headphones. When I first joined, these weren't available, and they definitely improve the experience. Halo Salt Therapy Salt therapy is said to be excellent for breathing, sinus relief, and relaxation and while I love the idea, I personally haven't noticed direct benefits yet. It may require more sessions or just vary by person, but so far it's hard for me to gauge its effectiveness. Lymphatic Drainage Suit - Upper & Lower Body This is one of my favorite services, and I try to book it at least once a week. It feels great, helps with circulation, and is genuinely relaxing however, it's extremely popular. Same-day appointments are almost always fully booked. If possible, adding a second unit would be amazing for members who pop in more spontaneously. Meditation Therapy & Rapid Recharge I love the concept, especially the glasses and headphones but I've struggled to fully immerse myself. Because these services are in more open spaces, background noise or people walking by make it hard to relax. I think adding privacy curtains or partitions would dramatically improve the experience. Services I Haven't Tried Yet I haven't tried their facials or massages yet, but based on the space and staff quality, I imagine they'll be excellent they're next on my list but they are a little on the pricier side. Staff & Service The team here is incredibly kind, polished, and personable. Every interaction I've had has been warm and welcoming. Special shoutout to Christina and Gena they are an absolute pleasure every time, and truly elevate the experience. I really enjoy seeing them and speaking to them everytime I come here and they always make me feel welcome and appreciated. Suggestions for Future Wellness Offerings I would love to see additional services added over time, such as: Red light therapy, Float tanks, Contrast therapy (cold plunge + heat exposure). In the Halo salt room, access to massage/theragun options. Another suggestion I have is possibly adding some hydration beverages instead of the tea and water they offer or maybe some fruit. Also, once a month it would be nice to see if they can offer breathwork, soundbath experiences, meditation experts. I would really like to see a little more. I know sauna services likely aren't an option due to the sauna studio nearby, which is unfortunate but even without that, there are many wellness opportunities that could enhance the membership experience. Overall, Heights Wellness Retreat is a beautifully designed, thoughtfully staffed, and continually evolving wellness space. With a few improvements and added offerings, this place could easily become an unmatched wellness destination. read more

This place is top-notch in EVERY way!! It seriously feels like I want into a sacred sanctuary when I come in! The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. I love the quick cryo sessions that wake up my body! Melting into the lymphatic drainage suit is just what I need after a long week. Deceptive advertising and a poor experience. I was really excited to try this place since it's much closer than my usual spa, and I loved the idea of having massage/facial services plus wellness amenities in one spot. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Booking was frustrating. It took 15 minutes on the phone because the staff member assisting me, Hannah, seemed to misunderstand what I was asking for multiple times. I clearly requested a 60-minute massage with a facial massage add-on, and had to repeat myself several times. On top of that, I was initially told there was no availability that worked for me, but I was on the website and clearly saw there was a 3 and 4pm. After I pointed it out, she said I was right and then booked me for 3pm. She also asked for my zip code repeated times. I told my husband that if this is how bad the booking experience was, I could only imagine how bad everything else would be. Unfortunately, I was right. The bigger issue was the service itself. I booked what was advertised as a "60-minute massage," but the massage lasted a little less than 50 minutes. When I asked about it, I was told the massage is only 50 minutes and the remaining time is considered a "consultation." However, my consultation was barely a minute long. And even if it was a full 10 minutes, this breakdown was never clearly explained during booking or on the website. It's completely misleading and deceptive. A FTC complaint on the horizon? For a business centered around wellness and relaxation, the experience was stressful and disorganized. Transparency matters, and expectations should match what's actually being provided. Especially when charging the prices they are. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. They are unethical and overpriced. If you're looking for a massage or facial, go to Burke Williams. They are less expensive with complimentary amenities. Best of all, they don't have misleading practices. The Woodland Hills location is newer and is my favorite. read more

I have had a massage and a facial, which were both excellent. I felt really cared for and the esthetician and massage therapist were experts in their fields. The staff has also guided me through the various wellness treatments with patience and true concern for my well being. I was beyond thrilled to see a new spa option in the PR area and this place met and exceeded all of my expectations! It was so clean, serene and beautiful on the inside...a must for me to be able to relax fully. The staff was so kind and attentive and Michelle gave me an amazing massage on a highly adjustable bed that even had surround sound IN the bed creating the most other worldly experience! It was a no brainer for me to come monthly so I locked in the beginning rate, and am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend! read more

I had an amazing experience with my 90-minute hot stone massage. Everything from start to finish was incredibly professional, and they made me feel comfortable right away. The environment was very calming and relaxing, which helped me fully unwind. The hot stones and massage technique really helped relieve a lot of stress and tension in my body. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and with much less pain. It was exactly what I needed. 2 stars because I feel bad leaving 1. This business will pester you and call you nonstop for days. Within a 3 day span they called me nearly 10 times. The website is not user friendly because you can't even access any kind of info unless you leave your contact information. And after that's submitted, you still can't navigate it independently and have to wait for someone to call you. I don't want to speak to someone about a membership, I want to be able to see prices and services offered. Additionally, I had to block their number because they would not stop calling. Pestering potential customers will do the exact opposite of what you think it'll do. I didn't answer the initial 2 calls because I was busy but I had every intention of calling back until I was bombarded with so many calls. read more
