Absolutely love Dr. McCormick and the entire staff. They do a great job and I sing their praises…read morewhen anyone comments on my smile. Fun fact: Dr. McCormick walked away from running a spice empire just to drill teeth. 10/10, will keep letting this ex-spice-lord and his staff keep my smile on point.

I had been with my previous dentist for over 25 years, so it has been difficult to come to terms…read morewith having had to find a new practice. Fortunately, the doctors and staff at Cascade View Family Dental have made the transition effortless and pleasant. I am happy to say that I am very satisfied with the level of care and attention to detail that the staff provides at Cascade Dental. Dr. Bass is warm, knowledgeable, humorous, and efficient. His mannerisms are professional and his recommendations have thus far proven to be completely on point. And if that wasn't enough, every member of the team is wonderful, and it feels like a visit with friends more than a visit to the dentist. Additionally, I look forward to my visits with the hygienist (Dr. Laurel) because she genuinely cares for not only the health of my teeth, but my overall well-being. I never thought I would find another hygienist who would do nearly as good a job as my last one (Dr. Elizabeth), but her enthusiasm and considerations rank her as top notch. I'm sorry that I hadn't taken the time to give this much-deserved praise to this practice sooner, but on the other hand, after being with them now for over a year, I can say with conviction that I would absolutely recommend this business based on numerous pleasant interactions. Here is a review of my previous dentist, in case you are in the Orange County area, as my heart is still with them and I consider them to be like family. I trust that my relationship with Cascade Dental will grow equally as strong. https://www.yelp.com/biz/roger-ho-dds-dental-care-costa-mesa Oh, and apparently others feel the same... check out this note I saw on the bulletin board in their waiting room:

Wow ... there is not enough to tell you how horrible this place is all the way around…read more Bait and Switch is the game they played with me. I was quoted $3000 for my dentures. I told them in no uncertain terms that I had NO money and that all I had was dental insurance (primary and secondary). I was assured that barring any complications, it would be covered by both my insurance companies. So they took an imprint and ordered my dentures. When I got the call that my dentures were ready, I returned and they proceeded to pull my remaining teeth (not many left after Crohns disease) and insert my new dentures. During this, Petersen hardly said 2 words. No courtesy, no smiles, no compassion. He was as animated as a rock. On my way out I was told I owed them $400. When we started the game of "but" ... they said it was unforeseen costs back at the lab. (They would provide me with no proof of that) When I told them I didn't have $400, Gail (the office manager ... and what a piece of work SHE is) went straight for the jugular. She stated that she would attach my income. No: "Let's see if we can work something out" or "Can you make monthly payments?" ... nothing. I advised her the only income I have is $900 a month in SS Disability. With that she LAUGHED and stated she was an "expert" at attaching SS Disability. I asked to talk to Dr. Petersen and Gail informed me that she would not allow me to do so. I had to borrow $400 and even to this day, they have kept my molds and will NOT allow me to have them. Stay away at all costs. I'm not the only one that has been a victim of Petersen's bait and switch. Watch out for evil that is named Gail.

The worst dentist ever. Bait and switch. Examines you, gives you a quote then when you come back…read morefor the appointment and after the work is done you WILL be charged for things he "did" and never told you about. The office manager is the office manager from hell. If you complain of the charges you were never told about, this is what you get: "I'm an expert at collections. If you don't pay, trust me, I will get the money out of you". I was reminded by staff that "Doctor owns 2 airplanes". Why is THAT an important part of fixing my teeth? I never did get my impressions that I paid for. He still has them. I had to take out a loan to pay the extra $600 that was part of their bait and switch program. STAY AWAY AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
