please be wary of these people. I have been in contact with the Canton city police as well as the state of Michigan and other licensing bureaus. These people are definitely only in it for the money in the two days that I was there. I think I saw at least five or six people come and go. I also had a sealed bottle of a controlled substance that I take for anxiety that was opened and I was left with one pill in the bottle. Upon going through my belongings, I find that I was protesting because they were damaging my belongings. Even when I left, despite me having a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder, and even the doctors there spoke to me, log enough to realize that I had autism, they genuinely do not care. It's just body after body bed after bed. I got in trouble so you could say because I was recording my whole entire stay on two cell phones that I had hidden on my person I guess their staff is not doing a good enough search that's not my fault. there was a woman there named Lisa who broke my property. Then there is a woman who the best way that I can describe is that her top body melted into her lower body I'm not sure if she experienced rapid weight loss or had rapid body surgery or if that's just how she is naturally proportioned, but her name was. "Nelsey". She had visible neck and face, tattoos and other tattoos. It just look like a hood rat in charge of a situation. I am currently in conversation with my lawyer, and I will definitely be in touch with the state of Michigan as soon as I left, I called the police. Keep in mind when I got there. I called the police and the police did show up and I started my incident report number at that time. This place is far they're terrible they're scamming. They are hiring people that steal, controlled substances they don't do things the right way at all, and they also kept at least $200 worth of my property along with a month supply minus one pill of a controlled substance that is on MAPS. Lisa Na another lady and the supervisor. I definitely have all of the video and audio recordings that I saved. I am going to be seeking legal representation because they're going to have to stop doing what they're doing. This is my fourth time coming. And this is the only time I actually made it into spend the night in the detox situation. They don't give you enough of your medication. Other centers have much of a higher protocol and I have a history of seizures with withdrawal, and I'm also prescribed medication at preference seizures, but they would not give that to me. They stole it from me. I am definitely pursuing legal action, and I have contacted all three local major news networks. Here are the pictures of the people that I took. Still pictures of the other pictures are screenshots of video and they are very blurry. If you have been harmed by these people feel free to contact me so that we can form a class action lawsuit. They don't like if you have a place to live, and they seem to only prefer people who are addicted to very harsh, intense substances, and they seem to like people who are pending felony cases they take it vantage of people. If you are not homeless, and on the run from the law, this is not the place for you, because they are very abusive, and they lie, and they make up stories. I was told that because some other people got uncomfortable with the fact that the staff had broken some of my items and didn't give me an explanation that they wanted me to leave. I was asleep in my bed and they came and accosted me out of my sleep and decided that they were going to pack me out. Like I said, they kept over $200 worth of my items and they kept a whole entire Prescription of controlled substances that are registered with the state of Michigan. If you have any experience with these people please feel free to contact me I come from a family of attorneys. I am working with the Canton Police and the Michigan State police and the Attorney General's office as well as the insurance providers. We need to get these people together if they are going to help people help people don't hurt people that already need help.

Four Seasons Rehabilitation and Nursing - Out front

    Four Seasons Rehabilitation and Nursing

    (20 reviews)

If I could give less than one star, I would…read more My family entrusted Four Seasons with the care of my grandmother for a short 5-day respite stay while her primary caregiver--my mom--took a much-needed break. What happened during that short time was heartbreaking. When my grandmother was admitted, she was alert, communicative, mobile with a walker, feeding herself, and enjoying time with family and friends. Five days later, we picked her up to find her unresponsive, unable to speak or walk, visibly distressed, unbathed, and disheveled--sitting alone in a wheelchair with her belongings piled in the hallway. Her shirt was halfway up, bra and stomach exposed, her pants crooked, her hair a mess, and she emitted a strong odor suggesting she hadn't been bathed the entire time. She had multiple open sores on her buttocks and heels indicating she was not mobile at all during her five day stay. She was in distress and would shriek in pain when you touched her right side. No one from the facility called us to inform us of this drastic change. Not once. When we asked what had happened, the staff had no answers. No concern. No urgency. My mom was left to transfer my grandmother into the car and received no answers to what had happened while my grandmother was in their care. Getting her into the car took 30 minutes, and no staff offered to help--only a nurse on lunch break and passersby assisted. She remained in this deteriorated state for a week at home (unable to eat, drink, speak, walk and was in severe pain) and passed away shortly after. We were told by Four Seasons staff that her condition wasn't surprising because she was a "hospice patient with dementia." This kind of dismissive, negligent attitude is unacceptable. To make matters worse, after meeting with the facility's social worker, Christina Davis, to express our concerns, we were told a formal complaint would be filed and someone from administration would follow up. No one ever contacted us again. Three months later, I filed another complaint with the administrator and still did not receive a response. What my grandmother experienced in her final days should never happen to anyone. Families deserve transparency, compassion, and dignity for their loved ones. Sadly, Four Seasons provided none of those things. I strongly encourage you to please locate another nursing home and DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE IN THEIR CARE.

St. Mary Mercy Livonia - Dressed up for the holidays

    St. Mary Mercy Livonia

I had a decent experience here. I was admitted to the psychiatric unit in December and found the…read morestaff to be professional and efficient. I was seen by multiple doctors on my first day and had an incredibly large (almost too large - it was impossible to remember names) care team. Not a single person was unpleasant or difficult to work with. Truly an excellent team all around. The facilities, on the other hand, were a bit lacking. Sure, I'm not expecting a 5 star hotel, but the bathroom in my room was a little grimy and they definitely could have made the common areas more enjoyable (eg more communal seating around a TV, some games or books out for entertainment, etc). There was truly nothing to do during down time besides lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. It's a shame because they even have a little free library downstairs in the main wing of the building where they could take/trade books if needed. Of the (unfortunately many) psychiatric wards I've been in, this was by far the worst in terms of opportunities to entertain yourself in between groups. The groups, however, I found were nicely varied. For example, we had pet therapy one day, an exercise group another, a relaxation group, and so forth. It definitely cut out some of the monotony I've experienced elsewhere when every group is some BS about coping skills or CBT/DTB. One major plus I found was that the food was good, exceptional by hospital standards, and you could order your own meals from a fairly expansive menu. Overall a pleasant enough experience, relatively speaking. They should be impressed with their employees in particular.

I believe they gave a drug for her lungs because she had pneumonia and good doctors call it run. Death is near! They sent her home to her nursing home where her kidneys failed. Now My mother is there right now. They wanted to give her Pepsi and I asked to just give her water and the liberal nurses verbally attacked me and then called security. Don't take your family members to this hospital. You'll never see him again!!

The service level at this facility is awful. My 85 year old mother was put in a room that seemed to…read moredouble as a storage room for old, scratched up furniture. Every day we went to the place there was no one to check who you are. You self checked in. There were times we didn't see a single person while walking through the place. Calling this place went to an automated system that routed to two nursing stations. One never answered with a message that said they would call back in 48 hours unless it was the weekend, then it would be Monday. Their social worker quit on June 10th of 2022, and they have not replaced her as of June 20th, but the phone system still sends you to her voicemail where she says she quit. Medications took up to 72 hours for them to get, including Pepto Bismal for my Mom. She went 3 days with nausea and diarrhea before they got her help even though they told us it would be done that day. Residents have no food choices. If you don't like or can't eat what they're serving you go hungry. Dinner one night was a cold turkey sandwich with cranberry juice. After 4 days we arranged for a new rehabilitation center and requested the paperwork to transfer her. No one seemed to know what to do. We were told multiple times that they were working on it, but the truth came out that they didn't know how to fill out the form online for the referral to the new facility. It took from Wednesday until Saturday at 2:00 in the morning until she was finally moved. 4 days later I received a phone call from this place asking to fill out paperwork for her. I asked if this person knew she was no longer there. She seemed surprised but said "Oh yes, we just need the paperwork for her file". If you care about your loved one, don't send them to this place.

She has access to tons of service she didn't get at home, like speech therapy, and so many more social opportunities that weren't possible when she was homebound- she plays bingo, gets her nails done, and even goes on outings like on the Diamond Jack riverboat! It's wonderful to see how much better her quality of life has gotten since moving here- I wish she had been able to come here years ago!
