Every time I call to either make an appointment or change one you can't reach anyone. I've been put on hold and left there until after lunch I'm guessing because I called at 12:40 something and magically after 1:00 they're able to help. You can tell by speaking to them they're not interested in helping you you seem more like a nuisance calling then an actual patient. Besides that the staff in my doctor's office is great and helpful it's just getting ahold of them that's the issue. read more

I was surprised to see such low reviews! I was referred here by my social worker at the hospital and was warned ahead of time that there might be a bit of a wait. Hegira reached out a week later and I set up my consultation, from there I scheduled an intake session which was almost a month later. Unfortunately the person doing my intake was leaving at the end of the week so I had to be out on a waitlist. That took about a few more weeks before I was reached out. Overall a little less than 2 month wait which wasn't so bad. Meanwhile I saw my psychiatrist there relatively quick and she was super accommodating even when I forgot about my appointment! So far I like my experience there and look forward to my treatment. read more

please be wary of these people. I have been in contact with the Canton city police as well as the state of Michigan and other licensing bureaus. These people are definitely only in it for the money in the two days that I was there. I think I saw at least five or six people come and go. I also had a sealed bottle of a controlled substance that I take for anxiety that was opened and I was left with one pill in the bottle. Upon going through my belongings, I find that I was protesting because they were damaging my belongings. Even when I left, despite me having a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder, and even the doctors there spoke to me, log enough to realize that I had autism, they genuinely do not care. It's just body after body bed after bed. I got in trouble so you could say because I was recording my whole entire stay on two cell phones that I had hidden on my person I guess their staff is not doing a good enough search that's not my fault. there was a woman there named Lisa who broke my property. Then there is a woman who the best way that I can describe is that her top body melted into her lower body I'm not sure if she experienced rapid weight loss or had rapid body surgery or if that's just how she is naturally proportioned, but her name was. "Nelsey". She had visible neck and face, tattoos and other tattoos. It just look like a hood rat in charge of a situation. I am currently in conversation with my lawyer, and I will definitely be in touch with the state of Michigan as soon as I left, I called the police. Keep in mind when I got there. I called the police and the police did show up and I started my incident report number at that time. This place is far they're terrible they're scamming. They are hiring people that steal, controlled substances they don't do things the right way at all, and they also kept at least $200 worth of my property along with a month supply minus one pill of a controlled substance that is on MAPS. I am going to be seeking legal representation because they're going to have to stop doing what they're doing. This is my fourth time coming. And this is the only time I actually made it into spend the night in the detox situation. They don't give you enough of your medication. Other centers have much of a higher protocol and I have a history of seizures with withdrawal, and I'm also prescribed medication at preference seizures, but they would not give that to me. They stole it from me. I am definitely pursuing legal action, and I have contacted all three local major news networks. Here are the pictures of the people that I took. They don't like if you have a place to live, and they seem to only prefer people who are addicted to very harsh, intense substances, and they seem to like people who are pending felony cases they take it vantage of people. If you are not homeless, and on the run from the law, this is not the place for you, because they are very abusive, and they lie, and they make up stories. I was told that because some other people got uncomfortable with the fact that the staff had broken some of my items and didn't give me an explanation that they wanted me to leave. I was asleep in my bed and they came and accosted me out of my sleep and decided that they were going to pack me out. Like I said, they kept over $200 worth of my items and they kept a whole entire Prescription of controlled substances that are registered with the state of Michigan. I am working with the Canton Police and the Michigan State police and the Attorney General's office as well as the insurance providers. This place is horrible. They have a high turnover rate of everyone. Good luck getting the treatment you really need. If you do they will end up leaving and they left my daughter hanging for over 5 months with nobody! My daughters new therapist at the 2 nd visit that was virtual decided to threaten me with losing my rights and something about neglect and other stuff because I wasn't doing what she wanted!!! Then she said she was going to tell her supervisor about the conversation...I will not be bullied or threatened by a therapist with my kid right there!! So I suggest staying away from this place if you can....I already pulled my daughter from this place and I noticed that they took down my review it's Gone!!!! read more

They don't seem to know how to treat people. 1st time we signed up there put my child in Counseling before doing an intake . Tried to make the in take to happened them got 3 calls canceling my childs appointments. So I looked into other places for this help no one would call back . So now all this delay is going to have the child without his medication for 2 weeks . He has been labeled Schizophrenia, Mess of the present , Autism and a few more . Would not recommend! They don't listen to patients complaints and don't value them as a person. My daughter is autistic and they sent a therapist to our home who has never treated #1 an autistic child and #2 someone who is over the age of 10. My daughter is 16. All they did was play UNO and the therapist would laugh even when my daughter was being serious. The conversation turned to sexuality and the therapist went into a religious rant. Unacceptable. So we went to the office manager to request a change in therapists. . . after a month, her therapist was not changed. I called and left voicemails weekly, no one EVER calls you back. We were also charge a copay even through my insurance we have no copay and yes I plan on filing a complaint through my insurance carrier stating this fact. Her physicist was just as bad. He asked how her therapy was going, she said terrible and explain. The Dr told her that her expectations are "to high". To high to not get a religious rant over your sexuality? Once I called spoke to someone, left a voicemail and wrote a letter of complaint pulling my daughter from their program. The letter was even faxed to their Livonia main offices and NO ONE called back. Doesn't seem like patients are anymore then a dollar sign and I am sure we weren't the only ones who felt that way. There are plenty of facilities that provide the same services. You may have to drive a little but it is well worth it to investigate and check all of your other options before signing your child up at this clinic. read more

First to tell me I would get a therapist and 2nd to say I will never see that therapist because they left. Trying to keep from relapse and staying alive. This is the type of place this is. Incompetent and argumentative children's clinical staff. If you are seeking children's care and want your own input regarding your child's behavior disregarded and devalued at every turn... Go here. Otherwise it would be in your best interest to find another place of care that will respect the integrity and wishes of your family. They will try to make you feel as if you are incapable of knowing what you do know about your own children and often make the mistake of taking sides. We have had people that have spent absolutely no time with our child or with us either in our home or in their office attempt to tell us that they somehow know our child and our child's motivations better than we do, and that there is no way for us to know them as we do. While it is healthy for a therapist to challenge perspectives and assumptions, it is another thing entirely to take a combative position that devalues and excludes parental input. They have such a high turn over rate that no real progress will get made... As all of the time is used up in building trust and establishing norms... No real depth gets met. There is also an overarching theme in all if their home based workers that we have met over the years that they consistently either don't want to be providing home based care or they don't want to be working with children at all. This is based off of clear and direct statements made to us in the context of the care that they were attempting to provide, and may shine some insight on why turnover rate has been so high. Very disorganized...desk staff is extremely lazy. You sign in on time but the desk staff will play with their phones for at least 20 minutes before they let your therapist know you are there, making you extremely late. Therapist seems good but the staff makes this place hard to like. Look else where if possible!! read more
