Called on Friday because I was out of town and they thankfully squeezed me in for a Monday slot. Staff on reception was super supportive and gave me good information about some interim care over the weekend and I looked forward to my appointment for Monday. Arrived on time for my appointment and was immediately shown to the waiting room and greeted by the nurse. The doctor on staff was polite as well as the receptionist and nurse - all very comforting and informative without being overwhelmed. Long story short I had sort of an emergency toenail removal procedure but I felt in such a great care that I was relieved to have it done. Would highly recommend!

During my consult, the PA estimated about $1,000 out of pocket for the portion that insurance typically doesn't cover. That was high, but manageable. After waiting more than a week and calling every day for answers, I was finally told the real cost would be just under $6,000 out of pocket. I cancelled immediately which was soul crushing given the glowing reviews. Now I expect to be charged a fee for "not cancelling within 48 hours" despite the fact that I spent days trying to get basic pricing information. It makes me wonder if the glowing reviews are coming exclusively from patients on Medicare, because my experience was completely different. What an expensive lesson to learn.

To their credit, after asking to speak to them, the Dr. did call and was helpful to explain my options. He is going to try to send me the image of my x-ray so I can see it. Hopefully I get that. BEWARE that this business is not clear about when the free foot screening ends and the "treatment" begins. After sharing this concern with them, I was told to pay the bill or I'll be sent to collections. I guess I learned my lesson... and wanted to share it with others.
