She was very flexible, did a great job with my engagement photos and wedding photos. Amazing job with the editing of my photos. The composition of my photos were exactly what I wanted. But then a girlfriend of mine introduced me to Jaimie. After meeting her and looking at her portfolio, I instantly knew she was the "one". She's fun, sweet and easy going. She's also got great ideas for style and poses. She's got the natural story telling kinda of photos which we love. I have to give Jaimie a lot of credit for her patience. She worked almost 14 hours on our wedding day and was all smiles the entire time! We just got all 1273 photos and we absolutely LOVE them! Couldn't be happier with the final product. Her work is truly impressive! The hard part now is choosing which pictures to blow up...there are TOO many favorites! Thanks Jaimie for all your hard work! Looking forward to using you again soon :)

Another great lesson on photographers work flows last night. Len started charging $10 just recently…read morefor what used to be free class offers. This was due to the large number of folks who signed up for each of his free class but failed to show up. There are a lot of flaky peeps out there who take up spots in class while others who really want to come to class and learn are put on the waiting list and do not get to come to the class. Charging a small $10 fee ensures only those who are serious about learning comes. And judging from last night, it worked! It is definitely worth every penny we paid as every time I learn something new and it does not make sense that he does not charge as he has bills to pay and he needs to make a living!! Now the class size is much smaller; there were only 6 of us last night, and each of us got to ask more questions and get more individual attention. Another great lesson on how to effectively manage your work flows starting from your camera to the organization and file structures on your computer. Most of us in class use Light Room so he focused more time on that. Len is definitely a great teacher and I especially appreciate that he takes the time to explain using examples and to make sure you understand each concept, as opposed to just rushing through his course materials without knowing if the class is really learning. (This is in contrary to another class I took at another guy's photography workshops.) He does not rush and is quite patient if the class is not getting it. He'll explain even in more details and using more examples. A couple months ago I also took his lighting workshop and learned about the basics of using strobe and even got some equipment from him for real cheap. I do not understand the one star rating from someone on Yelp. If you look around everyone gives a 5-star rating. What she described about Len does not sound like him at all. She must have got it on a wrong date, or went to a wrong address, or whatever. Note that once you get to the location, the door is sometimes close especially in winter time as the studio is cold. You can just go ahead and open the door as it is unlocked when he has a class. Len is a very nice guy and he has been in the photography business for at least 20 years. He knows how to work with and serve clients so this negative review looks very fishy. Anyway I found out he is going to teach a 6-week series on Light Room in which you will learning every module including the developing module. This is what I am looking for so I am looking forward to taking the class soon.

It was important for us to have this moment of a new family of three captured. When the weather became warm, I was avidly looking for a photographer to do outdoor family photos with. I came across Da and was able to book an appointment with ease. I explained to Da what I was looking for and he immediately grasped the concept. What I appreciate most about Da was his patience with us and our daughter. He was able to capture such candid moments! He gave us good pointers on how to pose and where to stand for the best lighting. He made us feel comfortable and made our shoot fun! Da followed all guidelines with social distancing and wearing a mask. He is professional, patient, and personable. I am really happy with how our photos turned out. I would highly recommend working with Da! Thank you for capturing this special moment for us as a family of three!

Upon meeting up, we were given quick tips on how to pose/move throughout the session. We're both noobs when it comes to posing and he made it feel natural. We couldn't have been happier with how the the pictures turned out! Highly recommended.

Moreover, I don't like posing for the cameras, especially when I would rather just like to relax and enjoy the wedding moments. Then I found Ivan's info after browsing the net for some time. I liked his photos right away - they all looked so natural and gorgeous at the same time. His photo-journalistic style was exactly what we were looking for, he is someone who can capture the most important moments while being almost invisible. I definitely recommend doing an engagement photo session before the wedding, to get to know his style of work. Ivan and his assistant did an amazing job at our wedding in May this year, the pictures turned out much more than we ever expected, I think I have not seen so far such beautiful wedding photos :-). I got many complements on the photos from our guests, and some of them were raving about Ivan's little Leica :-). We love how he captured the moments, our happiness and the people in their true selves. The clarity of photos, the light, the colors, everything is just gorgeous. We also love how he captured the nature around us within our portraits. The photos with a couple of breathtaking trees outside the venue are some of our favorites. And he never posed us, just let us play with each other and enjoy the moments. It was just perfect! Thank you Ivan, we are looking forward to working with you in the future on family photos!

Coco is awesome!!!!!!!!!!…read more When we were researching wedding photographers, they all fell into three basic groups: Expensive+Awesome, Expensive+Boring, and Cheap+Boring. All except for Martinography! There's a whole new category of one: SuperAffordable+SuperAwesome. I am so sick of standard wedding photos. Boring colors, boring lines of people, and HOURS of boring standing around getting paired up with different combinations of the wedding party. Boo! I wanted tons of color, creative poses, and candid shots. Coco brought it! I knew she was special as soon as I saw the pix on her website, but it was fantastic to meet with her in person and look through her fun portfolio. A previous reviewer wrote here that "When Coco and I met, I instantly like her--I think its hard not to be magnetized to her passion and zest for life". That captures her in a nutshell. I'm going to make the same joke here that I made the whole time we were engaged: if I hadn't married Annie, I'm pretty sure she would have married Coco! Everyone at our wedding who met her told us what a delight she was, which is important. Photographers can be invisible or fun or both, but you don't want people telling you how off-putting or bossy or unpleasant your wedding photographer was to them. No worries here! She even took some videos with her camera, which I forgot was a possibility. Or maybe I just wasn't paying that much attention when we met because I had already made my decision. It was an incredible blessing though, because we had the most awesome wedding dance ever - we rickrolled the entire wedding, live - and the people who were going to record it had to leave early. And then it appeared on our wedding photo cds, along with video footage of our opening and closing and vows. (Clearly not as important as the DANCE....) Coco should be charging three times what she charges. We paid (ok, my mom paid as her gift) something around $400 for what was supposed to be three hours if I remember correctly, and Coco even stayed longer out of the goodness of her heart to capture our dance. But I didn't want to tell her she should raise her rates till after we paid! She has a day job in Silicon Valley and does the photography because she loves it so much. Why not just do what you love, is what I say! (I suppose she must love her day job too, but it's hard to imagine her in an office.) Magnificent! I am so glad that I found her through Yelp forums and so glad that we chose her.

SO, I decided to hire Photo3lements for the Holiday party I was planning at AT&T Park for 350 people. They HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!!! (see what I did there?) They provided 2 photographers, photo booth with 2 attendants AND a videographer. Photographers: They were able to capture all aspects of the event in a unique way. I had give them little guidance, as they knew what they were doing. They captured everyone and were everywhere. Something I was concerned with given how big the venue was. They were on it and SUPER pleasant to work with! Photo booth: FUN FUN FUN! The quality and variety of all the props and backdrop options was wonderful! Allan's design of the background on the photos were perfect! Aesthetics are extremely important to me when I am planning events and what he produced was perfect! The attendants made it even more fun and kept the line moving smoothly. I am SO glad that we added this feature!!! Videography: This was such a GREAT option to add!!! Not only did they capture various parts of the event, but they produced a BEAUTIFUL surprise video montage for someone special here. They were discrete and did such a beautiful job putting it together. I am not easy to please. I plan a lot of events and take pride them being executed flawlessly. I am so glad that I hired Photo3lements, as they were a great partner, easy to work with, attentive and positive. I am impressed and hope to used them for ALL of my future events! During the wedding, we had friends comment that they thought he was a relative or family friend because he was friendly to everyone and quickly picked up on who/what we might have wanted more pictures with/of - all with very little direction from us! After the wedding, Trifon got us our pictures in an incredibly timely manner - we were so surprised! Overall, we were blessed to have 2 ceremonies (one in the USA and one in the Philippines). The photographer in the Philippines was all about posing and, while we had fun with the style that was more of a photo shoot and even some borderline boudoir style shots, that photographer would take 5 minutes to take one picture. Trifon has a more candid style, allowing more natural photos like of people hugging or laughing.
