My wife and I worked with Kassandra to take photos of our newborn, and we had such a lovely experience from start to finish. Before the shoot, Kassandra texted us with important details to help the session go smoothly, and walked us through what to expect -- and was happy to answer every tiny question we had. Kassandra is amazing! We've done newborn, 3-6-9-month-old milestones and 1 year custom cake smash photoshoots with her. She's terrific with our son and was very patient with him. She handled him with so much care and made sure we (especially baby) were comfortable throughout the entire shoot. I knew as soon as we got pregnant the first thing I wanted to book was a newborn photographer because our memories can fade over time, but photos to look back on last a lifetime. As new parents being able to just show up with your baby and choose outfits/wraps is exactly what you want from your newborn photographer. Pictures are usually in the first two weeks when you're sleep deprived and the last thing you want to do is plan outfits. Kassandra makes this aspect so easy for you and on top of that she priorities cleanliness in all her clothes/accessories. Her studio is very inviting as well. She literally has everything including great propping supplies (as a NICU nurse I really appreciate the thoughtfulness to correctly support newborns. She was also very accommodating as I was having quite a few preterm labor issues and had to reschedule twice. Lastly, but also important to note is that Kassandra is a very creative person. Which I think when people are searching for a cheaper experience you don't want to skimp on this. I personally felt for what you get and the lack of stress for you is very reasonably priced. You want a photographer who is noticing things you don't and incorporates their creativity. I followed Kassandra on IG months before delivering so I got to see her work and take note of positions and poses I would like to get. Kassandra just did my newborn family photo session. She also did a cake smash session for my older daughter a few years back. All the photos came out looking so amazing. She is so great with newborn and has the best closet of clothes/wrap to pick from. She managed to get the most adorable photos of my baby, even ones in wraps when she hates being swaddled. My older daughter usually has the most awkward smile when taking photos. We pretty much have to do retake for school photo because they are just that bad but Kassandra somehow managed to capture the most beautiful and natural smiles from her.
