Presque Isle Auto gave a very reasonable quote and so I decided to go with them. I was easily able to make an appointment that fit my schedule (and the schedule of the person who had to pick me up and drop me off while my car was there). I dropped the car off at about 830am and the repairs were done by 1pm. The car was washed inside and out, and the repair looked great. I have attached photos of before and after to compare. It looks like the original window and if you didn't know it was a replacement, you could never tell. All around very happy with the service and obvious care Presque Isle Auto has for the customer. Although I hope to not need it, I will definitely be back.

In a panic I went to Presque Isle Automotive based on their reviews for fair prices, excellent work, and quickly done. I can now 10000% confirm that this is correct! They were very pleasant, although perhaps a little "rough around the edges," on the phone. They were able to get me in rather quickly. The price of the detailing job was a little steep, but I had a sense that these people knew what they were doing., They didn't have a plethora of options, add-ons, or unnecessary services with which to be burdened. They have a drop slot for the keys so I left my vehicle and picked it up in the evening. The vehicle was immaculate when I picked it up. They were also very helpful by assembling my long, thought to be lost, valuables in a tidy spot for me reclaim. If you are looking to be greeted with Champagne and Crumpets whilst engaging in meaningless small-talk, you might try a beauty salon; however, if you want top-notch car detailing and don't mind paying for it then I recommend you give Dazzle a look-see.

We Do Not Recommend!!…read more Horrible Weld Job & Rude Owner We took my truck out to get my frame welded in order for it to pass inspection. We were quoted between $500-$600 which included about $100 to drop my gas tank. My mechanic who inspected my truck stated that the work was terribly done and that they never dropped my tank to fix the frame properly like they were supposed to. We paid close to $600. Our mechanic and ourselves tried multiple times to contact the owner, but we were all unable to get a hold of him. He doesn't answer the phone! My husband drove my truck back to Summit and talked with the owner about the mediocre work that had been done to my truck and what my mechanic said to him. The owner wondered what the issue was with his work and stated that the welding was done properly. He admitted that he didn't have to drop the tank when questioned about the price that we paid for the work that was supposed to be done. He then became very irritated when my husband informed him that he was a welder and knew how it was supposed to look when done correctly. He told my husband that he should have welded it himself and stormed away.

The car is metallic orange (Nissan's "monarch orange" paint) and I was worried that the paint wouldn't match exactly -- but the finished body work was EXCELLENT and the paint job is flawless! The car had been damaged once before I bought it, so Eric not onlyrepaired the "mistakes" the former mechanics had made, but restored my car to "like new" condition.
