I visited for the first time probably in 2018 or 2019 then I came in 2023 and so on. I've attended their 3rd Fridays art event plus some plays at the Blank Canvas Theatre. It's always nice walking around 78th street studios. It can get a little overwhelming because the building is so big and you may get lost but just follow the signs posted on the walls to find out where you're going. There is always so many people here, bumping into each other, and fighting over parking, so it is a bit overstimulating. But it is worth it as it is definitely one of the BEST places that host art festivals/fairs at least a dozen or so times a year. Support local and keep up the good work! My only suggestion is to avoid parking nearby and just walk to 78th Street Studios until they respray the parking lot lines and fill in some of the potholes...

I sort of stumbled my way here because I had forgotten about this factory but my friend Christina happened to be visiting on a Saturday afternoon and she asked if I wanted to come along so off I went. SERVICE -- I didn't see much guidance so you'll be on your own as you navigate your way around which can be overwhelming so keep that in mind. Also, the parking lot is very large so it may take you some time of driving around before you even find a spot. WINTER HOLIDAY MARKET -- I arrived for their winter holiday market. There were probably over 100 vendors (small businesses) inside the factory selling all sorts of items from candles, to artwork, pottery, t-shirts, etc. I also noticed a small section of food vendors. There is so much to see here that I suggest not coming in on an empty stomach. I hadn't eaten lunch when I arrived and I was starving so I left after 30 mins while my friend Christina left before me because of the large amount of people around. This factory is similar to 78th street studios but the Screw factory is much larger. This was not a Yelp event but a SPACES event. I attended on a Friday night with my friend and former roommate. SPACES is a venue located west of downtown Cleveland where works of art are displayed just as you would find in an art gallery but they also have events throughout the year. The show I attended was very different for me and my first time experiencing this type of art form. Some people may find interpretive dance strange but if you come with an open mind then you will enjoy it or at least leave experiencing something different. I will rate my experience 4.5/5. I misread the program pamphlet but I later found out that 2 different artists were performing at the same time so attendees could select who they wanted to watch. I didn't know this at first so I did miss one performance (by an artist named Robert) which is fine. The performances were actually repeated for people who showed up later to the evening (there was a 2 hour window to walk around and watch the performances). It is hard to explain this show but you can take a look at my posted videos for further details. My favourite piece was the woman who performed a movement dance detailing her feelings with the local media. She had newspapers lined up on the floor and at one point started laughing and crying to express her feelings. Many of the other dancers like her had amazing balance, core strength, and flexibility. They were all very talented in their own unique way. Here is the official dance show description - "Six local choreographers converge to create movement poetry in a vivid portrayal of modern art. View original works from diverse perspectives and watch art literally come to life." I recommend visiting SPACES on a weeknight or weekend. It is a fun environment and encourages you to open up your artistic side if you aren't normally inclined to do so. I will definitely have to come back here to explore more of the featured art on the walls. All of the dancers are clearly extremely talented. Some of dancers core strength was amazing. My personal favorite dancer was Robert. His performance was simply beautiful. The facility itself was actually a very great space and it's in a great location in Hingetown which I enjoyed. It's very versatile space and I can see them being able to do plenty of things here.
