after 3 weeks in the shop, for a water pump replacement and exhaust manifold bolt broken which…read moreCummins is famous for, had to take the truck to a different ASE certified shop to get the exhaust manifold bolt replaced. they quoted over $4,000.00 for this when the other shop which is also ASE certified did it for $1,800.00. Don't waste your time trying to call the shop foreman he will not answer nor will he return phone calls. After the water pump was finally replaced 3 weeks later I still couldn't pick up the truck because it took over 24 hours to get the bill sent over for payment. i can guarantee you they ran out of excuses then started with lies and blaming everyone else. I think it's hilarious that they send out emails about everything their service department can do for your fleet and all these service specials. This is my second attempt dealing with Rush Peterbilt in La Vergne, Tennessee and will definitely be my last. I'll have my fleet wreckers anywhere to avoid this fiasco again. No wonder they have so many nice used trucks on the lot, when most people have to park a truck for 3 weeks and get a ridiculously inflated repair bill they have no choice but to walk away from the truck and let them have it. Beware. If you go in the shop here it would be cheaper to rent an apartment than get a hotel. Your going to be here awhile, and the stress and headache isn't worth it. Luckily my driver lived close by, but 3 weeks for any repair is absurd. It was a water pump and diagnostic on the rest. I could have gotten an engine rebuild or replaced in less time than that.

Took into consideration everyone is different cleaned truck got service assistant to look at it to make sure it was ok. Was told he didn't see a problem he would drive it only to be called next day to come do test drive tech wouldn't. Truck redlined on way back they refused to look at it. We went to pick it back up ignition was hanging out. We have pictures. We also have an air purifier in truck due to compromised immune system.

It was the best service facility experience ever. I have to acknowledge Bishoy M, Service Advisor, and Joshua K, service manager. The quality of their integrity is hard to find, expecially in the truck/auto repair industries. Bishoy is a problem solver and a "get things done" kind of guy. We're full time RV'ers, and they got us in and out in a day despite a long line of scheduled appointments. I have to acknowledge Joshua for being extremely understanding, accomodating and sensitive to our situation. We have an RV traveling ministry, with many scheduled events and talking commitments throughout the country. I never mentioned who we are or what we do, and were given an exceptional, above and beyond service experience. As we're humble and do not proclaim our mission when not asked or "in service," I can only imagine that many people receive the same level of service we did during our visit. I highly recommend this facility, and acknowledge and fully thank Bishoy and Joshua as they unwittingly played in the fullfilment of scripture with regard to the Great Commission, and in serving the Lord. WORST SHOP EVER!!!!! Don't bring your truck here for service unless you want to be ripped off. I am…read morelocal to the Nashville area. I've brought my truck to Velocity Truck center on 2 different occasions and moving forward I'll take my truck anywhere BUT here for service. The first time I came here they didn't fix what I had requested and said they couldn't find a problem.... Ok that happens sometimes. The second and final time ( Last Week 10/25/2022) I requested an estimate for installation of some 4" lights (two facing forward and two facing back towards the trailer) and heated wiper blades. I had already bought all the lights and accessory parts needed so the quote was only for the labor. They quoted me $3,040.18 to do the job. ABSOLUTLEY NOT GOING TO PAY 3K FOR THIS!!! Of course I said no way. I requested to have the valves adjusted, change the engine air filter, and some other miscellaneous issues. Come to find out they NEVER CHANGED MY AIR FILTER!!!!!! I went to pick up the truck and they tell me I have a balance of over $500 for providing an estimate of installing the lights and the heated wipers. I argued with them and said never in my life have I ever had to pay for an estimate. The service advisor says that's a loose interpretation of what they mean. He says that it's really how much time the Tech has in looking into doing the job. UMMMMM how long did he spend looking at it? because even at $200 an hour for shop rates that's over 2 hours to evaluate the job and there's no reason that it should take that long. They ended up lowering it down to $395.89 and said that's the best they can do and I can pay it or leave my truck there. After arguing and paying for the bill, I go to the truck to leave and discovered they had left the fuse box open and the panel just thrown down in the back, my batteries were dead and I had to ask someone for a jump, and they didn't even bother to put some fifth wheel grease on my fifth wheel. Every shop I've ever been to has at the very least greased the fifth wheel. I've provided pictures of the paperwork as proof of all of this. They didn't fix the issues I had asked them to, charged me $500 to estimate the (ridiculously high) cost of installing lights, tore my truck up and left it in bad condition and dead, and were extremely rude when I brought up my concerns over these issues. They are not a good quality shop, they definitely show ZERO RESPECT for the drivers. They only seem to care about getting as much money for the least amount of work as possible... DONT USE THIS SHOP unless you want poor quality work at a very expensive rate!
