Hebridean Inn is somewhere between a B&B and a boutique hotel and was a very nice option to stay while visiting the Isle of Skye. Located relatively close to the "mainland" but a bit further from many of the islands main attractions, this is a good place to basecamp for your explorations. We booked a "sea view double" and the view was very pretty and the room was clearly updated recently and nice. The bed was VERY small for two people, so make sure you look at the measurements of a European double if that is your plan. Food was a bit of a let down, it was OK and pretty basic for breakfast even though it tried to be a bit gourmet. Cleanliness was great, but it's a smaller and older building so you may hear your neighbors a bit if you are a light sleeper. I'll be the first to admit I'm more of a "chain hotel" person, which isn't an option on Isle of Skye but overall this was a nice experience and I would probably stay here again! read more
