I buy from the one off Judson Rd. I like the place but the price increase to $17.99 for a stuffed chicken has made my recent trip my last.

This place is great for cheap produce in general. Also lots of hispanic products you can find here, and the resturant inside the store is also dang well mama-made authentic, and some of the best hispanic food you'll find in town - and at a fair price. What knocks the place down a bit is the produce here often goes bad before they can sell it all, so sometimes itll be hard to find some food that isnt rotten in some way or headed that way. Its still cheap though, and when you catch the stock on a good day you'll be leaving happy, but its often the case that youll be scrummaging through the rot to bag for the few diamonds left. The meat section is usually pretty good though in terms of not being as rot prone as the produce. Also really enjoy their desserts of flan and breads. Both quite affordable pleasures, though a bit dubious in their time of make. The store itself is pretty mucky overall, along with the tables for the resturants where you may find yourself having to clean others mess to finally be able to enjoy your own. I think its fair to say I love this place. Though its far from perfect I'm still glad its here. Compared to the mexican market in north of longview this one is a far worse. But, its still has its own charms and worth digging through, and also a great place for the occasional meal.

When you walk in, you see the bakery, which is huge and has a lot of selections. There is a separate line for ordering food that was pretty long, but didn't take a lot of time to get to the front. Ordered the cheeseburger with a side of fries and drink. The burger itself was very juicy and was a very good portion. The buns were very soft and fresh. The fries were amazing. Very big and fresh. The topping bar was self serve, which was really nice. Are they in the mail? I decided to look at the bakery and went with the lemon pie. It was absolute perfection. I love lemon pies, and this was one of my favorites I've ever had. Just the right amount of sweetness, and the lemon was very prominent with each bite. Lots of holiday themed and fall themed cookies, cakes, and other pastries. I wish I could have tried everything. Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10. Please try to stop by if you're in the area!

They have a large selection of burgers, as well as raw meats and baked goods (from cookies to full sized cakes!). I ordered the turkey burger with a side of fries and a drink. The turkey burger was HUGE and not overly seasoned. The toppings bar was super clean and organized, and so many toppings to choose from! I liked how I can control how much of each topping I put on the burger. I absolutely loved the fries- I could tell they were super fresh. They were huge, and I liked how they weren't drowned in salt. Honestly, some of the best fries I have ever tried in my life!! The ambiance is so cozy! Tons of tables and booths. It was packed on a Sunday during the lunch time, but it was still manageable to find a table! 10/10 place for burgers in my opinion, and I can't wait to come back!

The service was always great, the food was top notch and the drinks were fantastic. Kilgore and Longview in general just do not have much fine dining. Jack Ryan's was the diamond in the rough. At some point in 2024, Jack Ryan's made a decision to close doors to the general public (outside of private events). My partner and I were crushed as this one of our first picks when it came to going out. In late 2024, they decided to revert their decision and re-open to the public. We were elated. I came here on NYE with my fiance. The hostess working here at the time had a terrible attitude. Our server was mediocre. The food was good - but we could tell it was a different vibe from before. With it being a holiday - we assumed that was the reason for the less than par experience. 3 weeks later, we came back with my brother from out of town. He had a refined palette - so I did what anyone would do trying to impress their brother in ETX - and took him to Jack Ryan's. I made reservations for 5 weeks in advance to be told by the same hostess from weeks before that I had no reservations and could not be seated. After some push back, we were seated near the bar area. It turns out our server was actually the solo bartender for the night. What a nightmare that was. She was absent for most of the night. Drinks were slow. She was nice and this was not her fault. Her company set her up for failure. It was very disappointing! About a week later, I called to complain to the manager, Jason. He apologized profusely and told me to give them another shot. He would make sure we were taken care. While we likely will give them one more chance - I'm pretty much done with Jack Ryan's. Their service has been terrible. The food doesnt have the same magic as before. The bathrooms weren't as clean. I would question coming here and dropping a few hundred dollars until they can get their sparkle back.
