Best deli counter Mexican food in Marshall. Great mid sized market for groceries. Usually a very good selection of pan dulce.

I just recently moved from the second largest Koreatown in Texas to the Shreveport-Bossier area…read more Needless to say, this was a bit of a culture shock in going from a full Koreatown with dozens of Korean restaurants, a Korean supermarket, several dozen assorted Korean businesses in various industries, and a multicultural full on Supermarket, to an area with very, very few small Asian markets. Most of the markets I had gone to in the Shreveport-Bossier area unfortunately didn't carry things I use, as most of my Asian cooking is either Korean or Japanese (I like the odd dish here or there from other countries, they're just not my main diet). I was getting sad that I was going to have to drive 3 hours just to get groceries when I stumbled upon this place. Now, it's true, it's smaller than an H-Mart and so the selection isn't as big a full-on grocery store -- but that said, they carry all of my staples and most of my wants. They even make their own in-house kimchi! Not just cabbage kimchi, either. I bought some of the radish kimchi and absolutely loved it with Korean stews. I was also very pleased to find that although the brand selection of particular items is lesser than a huge store due to their size, they tend to carry what I personally consider the best brands in most of the things I purchase -- and the things I got that weren't my go to brand were still quite good. So, if I'm looking for Thai, Indian, or Vietnamese ingredients -- some of the other Asian markets in the area are better suited -- but for someone with my particular culinary needs, this place is 100% the market I'll be doing the vast majority of my shopping at. I have been in multiple times and they have always been kind and knowledgeable of their products. The only thing I would change if I could would be to make it larger.. but as for making good use of the space they have, I think they are doing an excellent job and I feel blessed to have it less than 5minutes away from where I live.

Bought a bag of sushi rice and it had BUGS in it. There are also mouse traps all over the store, I…read morewould NOT recommend this disgusting store to anyone!

Best Asian grocery store in the Tyler area and could easily compete with large Asian grocery stores…read morein Dallas, Los Angeles, and DC metro area when it comes to the variety of products carried. If this market was not in Tyler I'm not sure where people would get the essential cooking ingredients to make their favorite Asian dishes. I found that all the products here are fresh and if by chance the item you are looking for is not carried, the owner will go out of her way and make a special order. I also found the prices to be very competitive if not better than prices offered in the big cities....the ramen selection is ridiculous! This place is clutch when you need certain ingredients most big box stores or regular grocery stores don't carry. Also the owner's daughter is the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world.

It was our first time to visit this Asian market along Broadway. It is a small grocery store, but…read morethey are packed with all the things that an Asian person would want to get. The prices are affordable and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend this place because they have everything that you need and want. We will definitely be coming back because the owner is very welcoming and very helpful. They have fresh produce that are refrigerated and they are good quality. Amongst all of the Asian markets in Tyler, I am putting a stamp on this one as a chef this place is where you need to go!
