I bought a 2018 ford mustang from these people last year ( 2024 ) and my car was fine at first and then after about maybe a week my check engine light came on. I had a month long warranty on my car so I was able to bring it in. I was told a spark plug was bad and that they fixed it. My check engine light came right back on a few days later. I ended up taking it to Houston to my own personal mechanic and he told me the spark plugs were bad and I paid him to fix them. Apparently "HEB" auto sales didn't do a dam thing to fix my car. These people were extremely rude when I first came in. I didn't feel welcomed at all. The Latina women at the front have nasty attitudes and I noticed they only spoke to "certain" people.. if u know what I mean. They didn't even look my way when I would walk in needing assistance. I also found out that they scammed me and lied to me. When I bought my car, the car was going for 18K after all the and stuff. I just recently found out a year later that my car was actually 32K which is crazy cuz "HEB" auto sales never shared that with me.. they just completely lied and covered up stuff and didn't even tell me what the actual price is. I'm sitting here thinking my car is almost paid off cuz I've had it over a year now.. should be close to being paid off but I called the actual financing company and they told me I owe $16K left and I'm like what?? My car should be almost paid off from what I owed left since I put down 2K on it.. but nope! I owe $16K left on the car all because"HEB" auto sales didn't tell me what the ACTUAL price on the car was. These people are scam artists. Don't ever buy from these people! We purchased a 2017 jeep patriot from this dealership haven't even had it three months and now it's having transmission problems and they refuse to do anything about it so now I am doing a voluntary repo to have them to pick it up. I advise people not to buy vehicle from them all they wanna do is make a sale. They don't care about their customers. The customer service is great, nothing from there that I could say to sway you any kind of way. The main thing that's wrong is the cars! I went in looking for a car and I test drove 2 of them. I drove a Toyota Corolla which was definitely wrecked before which they did not tell me and A Nissan Sentra whose radio was not put in all the way and the sensors on the car where not working. They want to see you messed up cars & charge you outrageous down payments. They said my credit was great but since i have no history of leasing a car that I would have to make a $2500 down payment. We were scammed by these people on a truck that we were supposed to get on a trip that we took from three states away to get the truck and we lost about $1700 in total because of them and they lied to us every step of the way do not deal with these scammers!!!! They told us all we had to do is come sign the paperwork and we could pick up the truck and then when we got into the state, they change the story and told us it would be a two or three days before we could take the truck with us in case the loan didn't go through. They sent us pictures of the truck on three sides. Coincidentally on the fourth side of the truck it was covered in white paint on the rearview mirror under the windshield wipers the door jams part of the driver side door and then they kept $500 that they said was a deposit toward the down payment. Heb Auto sales prices their cars to draw in customers, but will not honor the listed price. I came in to buy a car that was listed at $15,995. The first contract brought to me had the price as over $21,000. I asked for the reason the price of the car was more than the listed price and was given many and constantly changing reasons. The reasons were bank fees, lender fees, other fees. I mentioned to the finance manager that under the Truth in Lending Act all charges and fees related to a loan must be clearly stated on the contract. It took 4 visits to find that the reason then became a market adjustment. The finance manager is not capable of speaking the truth and should not be trusted. In addition to the lies about the price of the car, she lied about loans being denied after being approved and needing someone else to apply. The sales staff were friendly. Please read your contract carefully and ask questions/proof about fees. Also, run the VIN number through Google. I found that the car I was trying to purchase had been wrecked and that was not disclosed. read more

I recently purchased a 2017 Honda pilot, which they gave me a month warranty. two weeks in having the vehicle my check engine light came on with a code to change my fuel injectors out. so I took it in and supposedly they changed out my fuel injectors. A little over a month and a week past, so I was over my 30 day warrant and my check engine light came on with the same code to change my fuel injectors. I have called up there and talked to the same person twice and I'm still waiting for a call back to see if they can do something about it since I've got my check engine light on again within 3 weeks from the first check engine light. I've called to speak to Tatina since she sold the car to me and they say she don't work there anymore. Regards if she did or not, they should make things right. My car never got detailed. And I'm still waiting for some parts that my car was missing when I purchased it. just a bad experience I wouldn't recommend anyone buying from the dealership. read more

These are not a honest car lot. They do not detail there cars before selling them. They sell you cars with check engine lights on or they reset them. They will tell you to lie to the bank for them. Brittany specifically is rude and uneducated when it comes to business practices . They will tell you to come up to the lot based on a lie on there part to repo your car if the bank returns the loan. I actually paid a car off with HEB and was told there would be no problem if I wanted something else. THAT WAS A LIE!!! I had a down payment and capable of making a payment every month. I wanted a truck. I found a 2009 on their lot. After spending most of my day there I was asked can I pay more each month. I agreed then Mario came back n told me I needed to make 1500 more a month to get a 2009 truck. If I made 1500 more a month I would just go to the dealership. After that he asked me if I could pay more down. I left after that. The next day I talked to him n he said the only way I could get that truck was to pay it down to 10,000. So he wanted me to pay 4,000 down!!! WTF!!! This is how they treat a faithful customer that previously paid a car off with them. I ended up going to My Car Store. Their sales associate Tatiana is rude asf and a racist ! She helped us coming in but as soon as a white lady walked in WAY AFTER WE WERE ALREADY THERE she immediately jumped up and left us to go help the white lady without paying us any mind. After awhile of just sitting at her desk she finally gave us keys to a car to go test drive I guess to get out of her face. After returning the car from the drive she asked me how I liked it and I was honest and explained my dislike with the car and wanted to check out a different one. For some reason she grew really defensive with me (for the SECOND time by the way) and told me after another 20min of standing around while she was helping the white lady , "I couldn't get an approval for you after all sorry" and walked away with nothing else said. After she already told me I could get the car she showed me with - let me not forget - I was bringing over $1000 down and not the $500 shown on the vehicle. She also tried to tell me I couldn't get the car I originally wanted bc it wasn't "in my budget" like she knows what my budget is. I make $19 an hour and work between 50 and 60 ours a week which is over $900 a week. If she had a problem with me bc I was black there was another black sales person in there that could've helped me !!! HORRIBLE ! They advertise as long as you don't have any repos you wouldn't have an issue getting a car. They are liars all from the jump they tell you that it is to your advantage price wise that they have not yet made repairs on your vehicle they will tell you it is safe to drive they will stall the process so long that you are tired and you dont ask questions when the time comes to sign papers and then they will tell you that the will fix your car and when you get it back it is a very temorary fix or it has not been done at all they know you need your car and probably dont have money to rent a car so they keep stalling until eventually your waranty with them runs out and you are stuck in your purchase and all of its problems. read more
