We have been sending our kids to SWS schools for their last 3 years. We started out with a toddler…read moreat the Prospect campus and now we have a toddler and a pre-k at the Skillman campus. I can't say enough good things about the staff and program at SWS. The school itself is Spanish immersion. This means NO English. Our pre-k kiddo is fluent in Spanish and even has a slight accent! Every teacher we have encountered is loving and provides a great balance of an educator and someone looking after them while they are on campus. The administration is also great. That is not to say they do not have their fair share of challenges or issues but they always work through it and do their best to make it right. As parents and customers of the school, we have to be understanding that during the pandemic everyone is doing their best and there will be things that get missed. The key is the safety and security of our kids during the day and that cannot be beat with SWS. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an immersion program in the Dallas area. During Covid, the schools took on the responsibility of ensuring all safety protocols were followed that were outlined by the state. But beyond that, they took it upon themselves to involve the parents and get a committee going to enhance the state protocols. Doctors, virologists, etc. formed that board and provided guidelines for the school as well as administration of weekly testing for the staff. We just restarted our kiddos back this past January and could not be happier. We are not allowed in the school but Drop-off and pickup are handled so well that I often times arrive and just based on knowing my car, our kids are sent down for pickup.

Best daycare ever!!! My so child has been enrolled since he was 2... almost 4 years with him there…read more& no problems with the center what so ever ! Not to mention, my mom enrolled my other 2 sisters over 20plus years ago. This is such a family oriented business. Very educational, the teachers are phenomenal. They go above and beyond for every single child , new activities every week , always teaching them just like a school. Every single teacher is so sweet & looks out for the kids. Ms.Pat & Ms.Tonya are so understanding & sweet , no matter what your situation is they try their hardest to make accommodations. I will continue to have my son come here when he's enrolled into elementary as a scholar. I highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Let me first start off by saying this daycare was great when I went there, I am now 37. My daughter…read morewent there until they told me they no longer take her to her school in sunnyvale, which, is the town they are located in. I put my son, with severe adhd into their care. First they attempted to pull the whole we don't take to sunnyvale anymore but we worked out a deal. I would continue to pay full price but I would take him to school and they would pick him up. Once I walked in to him stretched across a table with two teachers restraining him by the wrists and ankles. The fear in his eyes I could not describe. The last incident was I pulled up in the parking lot and my special needs son went trough a back door and was waiting in the parking lot for me, he's 6. I called the state and waged a formal complaint to which they attempted to retaliate because they weren't doing their job and attempted to dismiss him. When I referenced what happened they had no Idea and continued to argue with me until I asked to pull the cameras. The straw that broke the camels back was that he was having an outburst and I had to call my elderly mom to come get him. Their excuse? They are older with bad knees and can't chase children. I am a major supporter of children with special needs and how they are grossly mistreated and humiliated because they aren't acting like the normal children. If you file a complaint they try to dismiss you with that excuse. Why are you watching children if you can't keep up with them? I checked the state website regarding their citations and it fell right into how they were treating my son. Unfair humiliation, yelling, dehumanizing the children, look for your self, there's 18 citations. Again, my son had an outburst and I was called at work to come get him. I don't know many working people who can do that over and over again. So, they called my elderly mother to come get him. He was in a altercation with a boy, who open handed struck my child and left marks. Miss Becky, one with bad knees, told himvto push him back. Violence is not taught in my home. Below is what the other kid did. Parents, moms and dads, caregivers, please do your homework and and find a responsible, nurturing place for your child with special needs. They berate, belittle, man handle, and are not true Christian's as they state

I thought it was pink eye so I sent a message to the school that night which no one responded or called me. I wanted to let everyone know so that others may not get infected. My husband called the next morning to inform them since no one reached out from the school. I took my child to the doctor on 06/20/2023 to get checked out and the doctor confirm that it may not be pink eye but to keep watch; her eye was very swollen and it looked like she may have gotten hit in the face. My husband then spoke with someone again at the school to look at the cameras and that we can have access to the cameras and that someone would call me. No one ever call me so I physically had to go to the school and re-explain wheat happened to the front desk which she said she saw the message but failed to reply. So you all allow sick kids to come to school??? I spoke with someone sitting at the front desk and we went back to the classroom to speak with Miari and she then said well 2 kids in the classroom had pink eye!! I was not aware and nor was the school director! This is an extreme violation of OSHA so I immediately removed my child from the school due to the lack of care and communication. The teachers don't even have access to Kids Reports, which sucks! At Primrose, which we are going back to now, allow open communication between the parents and teachers. I literally have to call the school and ask every day to send pictures of my child to ensure she is ok. Primrose always keeps me updated and send loving messages about my baby girl and ensures that she is loved and being treated well. I would not recommend this school for the academics or structure but they are the cheapest I've seen and that probably why they have so many downfalls bc its a "cheap" school. I'm worried everyday about my child even eating. They are so short staffed they weren't even able to feed my baby solids bc they were "too busy". No parent wants to come and pick their child up from school and hear things like. she was fussing all day or she didn't sleep, better yet does she throw up all the time??? Invest in your employee' s knowledge and communication styles. I will never come back nor recommended this school to anyone. I had no choice but to report this school to OSHA since no communication went out about children being contagious. They don't even wear masks or uniforms to shield any allergens her from the children that maybe carried from outside at this school. 4 weeks wasted. Please go to Primrose.
