As far as the person who decided to make her first post on Yelp a derogatory post about Mrs. Patterson and Ms. Mia (who I may add areas nicest and as sweet as they come) I feel that calling Ms. Patterson racist and suggesting that Ms. Mia needs a mental evaluation is completely FALSE! The teachers at this facility genuinely care about the children. My kids adore Ms. Meg, Ms. Christina, Ms. Celina, and Ms. Mia as well as the other staff. I feel more parents should appreciate and acknowledge when their children are in great care. Out of all the facilities in Mesquite and Sunnyvale, this one is the best that I have seen. Not to mention the facility is always clean and they have security measures in place to ensure your kids are safe. Not to mention, they are accredited and I know that my child is getting a head start on their education, they offer computer classes for toddlers and even offer dance classes with Ms Judy from Stars of Tommorow. They even have Friday Night Live that anyone can attend and drop off their kids so I can have Mommy time or Date night with my husband. Soooooo many reasons to chose this school. All the negative posts are completely suspect. (notice they have very few friends and this is their first post.....hmmmm)

Children's Courtyard has been my saving grace! My son and I just moved from Las Vegas, NV and the…read morestaff has been amazing. Moving such a long distance has been a little rough, with starting Kindergarten this year and having to make new friends we've encountered a few bumps along the road; however, the school age teachers have been amazing, working with me during the last few months to help correct some issues that we were having and I couldn't be happier. All of the staff at the Children's Courtyard daycare are phenomenal and show my little guy that he is loved. We love it and I absolutely recommend that you meet with the staff there, they have earned my trust and there is no one I would rather have taking care of my son than Children's Courtyard.

The director Marsha at this daycare clearly doesn't care about the well-being of the children or…read morethe concerns of parents. Despite ongoing issues with over-ratio classrooms and understaffed mornings, nothing ever seems to change. When these concerns were brought up, the director was dismissive and unresponsive. It's clear that the management's priorities are not in the right place, and it creates a very unsafe and unprofessional environment for the kids. I cannot recommend this daycare to anyone who values their child's safety and care. The only positive aspect of this daycare is Robin, the one staff member who truly cares about the children and goes above and beyond. Robin is wonderful and does her best despite the challenging circumstances, but it's unfair that she's left to handle everything on her own. The daycare is severely understaffed, with poor management that doesn't seem to care about the kids or support their staff. While Robin is fantastic, she deserves better, and so do the children. Every time I've interacted with the front staff at this daycare, it's been a frustrating experience. They consistently have bad attitudes, and I've caught them lying straight to my face on multiple occasions. It's clear that they have no interest in addressing concerns or providing accurate information. Their unprofessional behavior only adds to the already poor management and staffing issues at this facility. It's incredibly disappointing, especially when you're trusting them with your child's care. There is no rating this place !!!!!

My child attends Pecan Ranch and has since he was 6 weeks old. I appreciate the knowledge that the…read morestaff has about childcare and the positive interactions that I see. I have a very energetic boy and he often times is more than willing to test your patience and the ladies show extreme patience, often reminding me that, "boys will be boys and he is just a typical toddler". As a toddler I know that he is going to get hurt, but the teachers are always able to let me know the how and when and are knowledgeable in their first aid to the point that I don't have any anxiety or fears while he is away from me. He has recently moved into the Toddler Room and it's great having teachers who are willing to help with potty training when I'm ready, transitioning to a sippy cup, and just the other daily things that he is learning. He often comes home with new words and trying to sing songs from his class. For a childcare facility, I love the home away from home feeling that I'm having with this facility.

Terry would have an older kid beat up my son and others when she thought they where being bad. She would tell my son he was bad and even put a girls TUTU on him to make the class laugh at him! She told all the kids to "tell his mommy he is bad". I called Lisa the owner/director but she refused to call me back. In fact I was treated as if I did something wrong and Terry was the victim! Terry no longer works there ( surprise ). I also have messages from another teacher who worked there letting me know the truth about everything. I believe a lady by the name of Candace is working the front and she stated " she cant talk because she did not want to lose her job." I have proof of everything and don't mind posting it. I have a lot of guilt I carry with me for letting my son go to this daycare. PLEASE DONT take your children here.

They are all genuinely nice people and I enjoy visiting with them when we drop off. We used the Plano center a few times and had positive experiences there, too. (Just have not yet met the owners.) Our child started going to Adventure Kids at age 3 and has been going for 4 years. We probably use this location once a month for a date night or after school meetings. The care providers are always very sweet, and some of them even recognize us when we arrive. That makes me feel reassured at drop off, and our child always has a great time. This particular location is very close to school, so other classmates we know use this location often. Overall, we have been fans of Adventure Kids since we moved to Texas. It is a clever idea for a business, and in my opinion, they offer a great service ... especially for parents who are new to the area and don't yet have babysitters.

My daughter has attended this location sporadically, and initially, we were pleased enough with our…read moreexperience. Unfortunately, that changed after an incident involving my daughter. When my daughter told me what had happened, I went to the location the following day to address it. I explained my concern to a staff member, and instead of showing any empathy or even acknowledging what I was saying, she simply gave me an email address and walked away. There was no "I'm sorry to hear that," no attempt to understand what had happened, and no concern whatsoever. I did follow up by email and spoke with management, who addressed the situation and told me they would speak directly with the staff member involved. At the time, I considered the matter resolved. However, after returning and interacting with the same employee again, I was disappointed to experience the same dismissive, unwelcoming attitude. Whatever conversation may have taken place clearly did not result in any noticeable change in the way I was treated. We only returned once after that and then stopped going for quite some time. This week, I decided to give the location another chance because I was in a bind. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, my daughter immediately said, "Oh no, not this place. I don't want to be here. They're mean." I went inside with her and asked if I could stay for a few minutes to help her feel comfortable. They allowed me to do so, and eventually she began playing and warming up. What really stood out to me, however, was that the staff could clearly see that she was hesitant and having a difficult time staying, yet not one person approached her, tried to engage her, reassured her, or made any effort to help her feel welcome. After observing that, I decided I was not comfortable leaving her there. When I said we were going to leave, the interaction I received from staff only reinforced my decision. I'm actually thankful I went inside this time because I was also able to see the condition of the facility for myself. It appeared dirty and very run down. The toys and play areas did not look well maintained or clean, which was especially disappointing for a childcare facility. The same staff member I had dealt with during our previous incident was also there, and unfortunately, I experienced the same dismissive and unwelcoming demeanor. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already prepaid for one of their highest-tier packages, which was several hundred dollars. Since my daughter clearly does not feel comfortable returning, I asked whether the unused portion could be refunded and was told no. At this point, I would rather lose the several hundred dollars I already paid than leave my daughter somewhere she is telling me she does not feel comfortable or safe. That should say everything. I was in enough of a bind that day that this type of drop-in childcare should have been incredibly helpful. Instead, I chose to take my daughter to work with me rather than leave her there. I will not be returning to this location with my daughter, and based on our experiences, I cannot recommend it to other parents.

I truly believe the teachers and staff have played such a big part in helping her reach these milestones. I'm so grateful for the love, care, patience, and education they provide every day. Prestigious Learning Academy has been such an important part of my daughter's early years, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. If you are looking for quality care for your littles while enduring the hustle and bustle of life…read more This is the place. Top tier service. They care for my children as I would when they are in my presence. Candice Lewis the DIRECTOR is always informative. If you value direct communication open communication and just someone keeping an eye on ur little with expertise AND TRAINING this is the place. I have no complaints. Most people don't even realize that children are totally different when they aren't around their parents. "WE" as adults are so quick to judge, "WE" also have to look at the professional and realize they are human as well. So if a voice is raised it's because someone's bad ass kid isn't listening. Gentle parenting a gentle redirection does not always work!! An we as grown adults know exactly what "our" kids do. Even to us. But to a complete stranger they don't know. Kids are monsters. And most time don't listen."ok done ranting" I'm a real human with real kids that don't listen to me and I'm sure don't listen to complete strangers. Especially when given direction from someone they don't know. All I will say is GRACE. We all deserve it. Compassion first. We all have the same 24 hrs in a day. What will u do with yours? Be a good person. Great service hands down. I trust Candice and her staff with my kids ALL 4 of them!

Not great. The school's website and staff appeared to misrepresent what the school's strengths and…read moreweaknesses were. The website says they have won awards for being good with kids who have special needs - they were not good with my son, who was just diagnosed with ADHD. The parent manual says they work with parents if kids have trouble in the classroom. They did not work with us, although the director did tell me that they worked with another child for a year until he went to kindergarten and ended up bringing a knife to kindergarten. It seemed like they favor kids who have been there for a long time or whose parents they know, I'm not sure. They did not appear willing to work with our son's therapist to develop a plan for our son, either. The director told us, "sticker charts don't work." I also didn't feel like they did much "teaching." My son did not do one worksheet during his time here. I did not see any educational work coming home. The children in his class seemed to bully a lot for such young kids. They called our son a cry baby and made fun of him for calling his mom "mama." The teacher is very experienced, but she appeared to be worn out or overwhelmed. The facilities are inviting but seem crowded and less than pristine. On the positive side, I will say that my son had fun with a lot of the activities they did, such as the summer luau. The director is pretty good at communicating with parents, even though I felt that she was either biased or dishonest in her communications with me. Bottom line? If your child is a fairly easy kid, and you aren't too focused on your child getting the best educational environment you can find, this school might work for you. If your kid is hyper or challenging like mine, this might not be your first choice.
