I hope my long experience can educate other interested parents about how special this school is for us. I like this facility because it is a family-oriented Montessori school and unique in many ways. Both directors are very experienced in this field. They work hard to be on top of every issue at their school, which gives you a good feeling when you go there every day as a parent. The place is always clean and organized. the staff Ms. Maria, Nina, Holly, Karen ....are very friendly and caring. The management is truly committed to providing your child with a safe, fun, and loving environment throughout the year, especially their summer amp is really unique. I'm grateful for their hours as well, it is important since not everyone worked a 9am to 5 pm job. The days that the school is closed are minimal, and you have the calendar schedule in advance. one of my favorite moments was when I dropped off my little one, she turned around and said bye mommy, and made her way to her class. Ronda "Nana" is wonderful with kids and we trust her implicitly with our 18 month old daughter. She loves going to see Nana and sometimes she even calls out for her when she is at home like she misses her. Nana always has art projects and other educational projects for the kids and my daughter always comes home without a drop of paint or anything on her! She is so good, that we have actually changed our mind about moving from where we live so our daughter can go to her until she starts school. It was difficult for us to have children, so trusting someone to care for our precious girl was something I thought would be very hard, but we feel very lucky and blessed to have found her! My youngest son (8) has autism and it is very difficult to find centers with staff who are equipped to handle children with special needs. The have so much patience for him and show him so much love. The owners and director are friendly, approachable, and do their best to help you in any way that they can. It was worth waiting for them to be available for my son. Teachers were very supportive, gave us suggestions and helped our sons development. The office staff knew our cars so they called our son as soon as I turn into the driveway and he was ready to come out when we park the car, we didn't wait to pick up our son. We enjoyed attending every events like the open school, grandparents day, and Christmas, not only to see my son but others growth. What we liked was their menu too, they had fish day. My son was here for daycare leading up to pre-k and we loved: Ms. Carena, Ms. Brenna, Ms. Cameron, and Ms. Abby (Their cook was excellent as well her name is escaping me at the moment). They took such good care of him I felt like I was leaving him with family. My older son went for after-school care and loved it. The way she greets each and every parent and child by name and with a smile each and everyday shows how she takes the time to get to know them. Mrs. Magee represents the school well. Since the management change two months ago, this facility has unfortunately gone downhill. My…read more2-year-old has come home with more unexplained injuries in the last few weeks than in our entire two years here. These wounds are often not treated properly, and there have been multiple times where no incident report was filed -- and neither my husband nor I were informed by staff. The assistant director, Vanessa Ortiz, has extremely poor communication skills. It often takes more than a full school day to get a response to emails about serious issues like injuries. When we've tried to address concerns in person, we're met with excuses, not answers -- and certainly no sense of urgency. Also, if you have an issue and ask for the teacher's names (since we don't know their names due to so much turn over), don't expect to get them without the director reaching higher above her and then telling you to reach out to the area or regional director :) Shockingly, some teachers have even stepped in during conversations with other staff and *yelled* at us while trying to defend one another. The stories we're told rarely add up, and it feels like there's a serious lack of transparency and accountability. Supervision in the classrooms is clearly lacking, and poor communication seems to be used as a cover-up rather than a fix. There has also been an alarming amount of turnover among staff and students in just the last two months alone. That said, I want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Margie, Mrs. Wanda, and Ms. Jasmine. These amazing ladies are the only reason we're waiting until summer to pull our son. We truly appreciate the love and care you show our baby -- thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
