Worst experience ever. I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day as a husband does. I…read moreordered them online thru www.avasflowers.net who is just an "order gatherer" according to LA Floral. This order is then passed over to LA Floral to fulfill and delivery. The product I ordered was offered in Small @ $44.99, Medium @ $54.99, Large @ $64.99 and Luxury Grade @ $74.99. I ordered the Luxury Grade option but only received the Small option. I'm giving them 2 stars simply because they did deliver on time even if they didn't deliver what I ordered. It was impossible to reach AVAS Flowers and I got a crazy response from LA Floral when I asked that either they send the Luxury Grade version or refund the $30 difference. This is the response I got from them. "The problem is they mis-represent the arrangement based on price. Valentine's week flowers are even higher than normal week -- meaning the farms and suppliers raise the prices, which means we have to raise the price. We did receive $74.99, from which we had to subtract delivery fee, giving us only $67.00 to pay for the flowers/greenery, the vase, design time and Ava's receives 30% of the price we received. Also, the order we received from Ava's did have a recipe but it also plainly stated "Similar," meaning we have to abide by the current pricing. The order we designed was following the recipe but filled only to the retail value." When I replied back that their profit margin is not my issue. I paid for an item based on the size I selected. If I had wanted the small version I would have ordered at the lower price. Needless to say they refused to refund the difference. Their policy is that it doesn't matter what you ordered. They will determine how to fulfill the order based on what they determine to be the retail value. I can't speak for how they do business in person but as for ordering online thru a 3rd party that is fulfilled by them I can say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Well, all I can say is, "terrible."…read more It took 3 different attempts for someone to finally contact me regarding the making of 1 single bouquet for my wedding. It was another 4 days after the 3rd attempt that I finally got a response by email. The response stated, in what I feel was a condescending manner, that she could not do what I was asking for in any way shape or form (the flowers are all out of season and impossible to get) but that she would make me something completely different for an oddly high price. REALLY? If that is what you call customer service I am amazed you have any customers at all. No thanks.

We recently had a death in the family and instead of sending a floral arrangement to the funeral,…read moremy family purchased an arrangement and had it delivered to our house. I am appalled that the bouquet lasted 2 days and looks like gerber daisies (not an expensive flower). I know my family spent $100 on this bouquet and I feel it was not even worth half of what they spent--including the delivery fee. The bouquet literally had 11 daisies. Horrible, horrible experience.
