We ordered them unbreaded, they hit the spot for our son. The Caesar salad for 11$ was a miss. While it was fresh, it's just not worth it. We had a large meat pizza and it was cooked to perfection, loaded with toppings, cheesy, and was a hit with everyone. We each had 2 pieces and had 2 to pack home. Can't speak to the service as I had to pick up our car rental so someone else in our party placed the order for me, but the pizza was bomb!! I got the boricua and I loved it! The sweet plantain pieces went great with the sweetness of the roasted garlic chunks, cilantro gave little pops of flavor and it was overall delicious. Crust was fluffy and crispy, no complaints. I admit that I had my doubts about the quality of Italian food on this tiny Puerto Rican island but our group of four were all impressed with our meal at Heather's. The Yelp reviews do not lie! I chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub minus the bacon and loved the sandwich! So simple and yet so delicious. The breaded chicken was juicy and seasoned well. It paired well with mozzarella, ranch dressing, lettuce and tomato. As I was trying to avoid leftovers since we didn't have a place to store it during our beach day, I actually managed to eat almost the entire sandwich. I wouldn't recommend it if you're a light eater like me though, especially if you're planning to spend your day in a bikini. Pretty sure I had a bit of a food baby going on after this meal! My boyfriend ordered a calzone and thought it was one of the best that he's ever had and our friends split a pizza. Everyone loved everything about Heather's! The restaurant is well air-conditioned. The pizza is okay but When my wife asked the bartender in English how the service worked, because when she entered the door she wasn't greeted or attended; the bartender gave her an attitude and a disgusted facial expression then responded in Spanish saying "what." When she spoke in Spanish she then said "oh yeah I'll get you a table." Revealing she spoke perfect English. Yet, when I came in speaking Spanish she responded kindly to my questions and helped get our order together. I only found out about this interaction once I was finished eating. And yea I know I don't go for their service but their food, but damm the girls wouldn't even pay attention to us until like 15 min after we sat down. Let's start by saying I have visited Culebra several times and this is hands down one of my favorite places. It is a small place but perfect for the island. The mozzarella stick was among the best I had tasted that we almost ordered more. We couldn't decide on which pizza so we had half Marquez and half Boricua. The pizza tasted great. ( It is definitely not New York style but that is what makes it stand out) We loved it! The service is great. I love that they were attentive and engaging. You should not be able to call this pizza and if this is all you have here in Culebra, jump on the ferry and eat on the main island. Pizza is actually real good there. This is the perfect place to have good pizza before taking the ferry back to Fajardo. It's packed and the locals recommend it by name- which is a good sign. We ordered the hot Hawaiian and the Oasis. The slices were huge and the crust was twisted, soft and fluffy. They also have a variety of tropical flavors for daiquiris and mojitos. We walked in about 4:30. They didn't serve dinner till 5 which is rather foolish when it's ready but that's their policy. Since I had to make another selection I tried their Meat Pizza which was excellent. I got two slices and they came on two plates. More than I could eat and a good value for the money.
