Within seconds, the tailor took them to the back and had them perfectly repaired in under a minute, is it possible this tailor is some sort of wizard. What truly set this experience apart was his generosity. He only accepts cash, which I didn't have on me, and instead of turning me away, he kindly told me not to worry about it and to just come back next time I need anything. That level of skill and trust is rare. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this place to anyone who needs quality work done right.

Poor quality, bad communication, not reliable with time…read more I was told my items would be ready on a Friday. I arrived at 2pm and they were not started. I was told to come back at 5pm. I returned and they were not complete. Returned the next morning to pick up poor quality of work. It appears to be a Mom & Pop shop, very nice people, but will not use again and would not recommend due to issues above. The owner was apologetic about the delay and poor communication, but the poor quality speaks for itself.

One great experience, one not-so-great experience with Lana…read more She is busy, so time was 3 to 4 weeks out for each of the two experiences. I didn't care about time, so that wasn't an issue for me. If you expect a quick turnaround, this shop may not be for you. Took 4 pair of new khaki pants to have the legs shortened by 4 inches. She did a fantastic job. Double stitched, thread matched the cloth. I complimented her work and she told me that she just followed the same stitching as the manufacturer. About a month after, I dropped off another 4 pair of the same new khaki pants, again with the shorten legs by 4 inch request. 4 weeks later, the pants were picked up, but the end of the legs only had 1 row stitched, and the thread color was significantly off. I took back the pants asking why she had not followed what was done earlier and she attempted to blame me and got exasperated. She took the pants back and added the 2nd stitched row to the pant leg hem, this time with the correct, matched thread color. The first stitch, in the wrong color, was not corrected. 5 stars for the first experience + 1 star for the second experience = 3 star review. I will be trying other tailor shops before considering revisiting Lana.

Overall, would not recommend.

They were very quick in getting this done and communicated to me. I've sent two garments that had serious moth holes in them to Amazing Garment Repair. The work AGR…read moredid is, as their name suggests, amazing. They are thoroughly skilled in the French reweaving technique with such results that on the one garment I was unable to find where exactly they did the work -- the damage was fixed with nary a sign. The work on both garments -- both suit jackets -- was done in obvious places: the upper back on one and the right sleeve on the other. They were challenging jobs and they are completely fixed. The turnaround time was quick respective of the skill and expertise that is required for this method of fixing. And the pricing is beyond reasonable. Listen, I hope I never have to contact these fine people again. But I rest assured that should I ever have another moth problem, it won't be the "end of the world" because the talented ladies at AGR will be there to . . . ahem . . . patch things up. I highly recommend AGR to make your holes whole again!

I brought my grandfather's old military jacket in hopes they could repair it. His health was…read moredeclining and my family would have liked to display it at his funeral. Unfortunately, they were not able to deliver the jacket to me by the original deadline, due to a lack of the required materials. As much as I wish the jacket could have been ready when my grandfather passed, I was comforted by the quality of the repair when I finally did receive it. Although I was promised a discount because of their inability to complete my repair on time, the discount was small and relatively meaningless compared to the total cost. This left a bad taste in my mouth and the experience as a whole soured me towards ever wanting to use their services again. I mentioned as much in a negative review on this site shortly after returning home. Upon submitting my review, I was contacted in less than 2 hours by the owner, who apologized for my experience and offered me a full refund. Even after giving me all of my money back, she never asked me to take my review down, which spoke volumes of her character. Because of this, I have edited my review and rating. The final marks: Customer Service: 2.5/5 stars due to poor communication surrounding the delays. Quality of Repair Work: 5/5 stars
