Decided to give this studio a chance as they claim to be the best in town for ballet and dance…read more Teachers are VERY young and green and were late to teach class a few times during the brief semester we were there. The Acro class is literally girls doing forward rolls, ridiculous! In addition, the studio director is extremely disorganized and lacks communication with parents. There are constant hidden fees for everything. For example: there is a registration fee every semester, not for the year as other studios do... mandatory leotards are to be ordered and worn to class, $30 each. They arrived when the season was OVER...4 months to receive them, unacceptable. Additionally, from the moment you open the downstairs door to enter the studio, the stench is overwhelming. The bathrooms are ALWAYS filthy, floors are clearly never cleaned or moped whether it be in the studio or waiting room. There are NO DOORKNOBS OR HANDLES to open the doors to the studio dance rooms, a child's hand is caught almost every single time I am there. Their excuse is the doors are old and they have not been able to find a doorknob that fits It's a miracle no one has shut this place down. There are tons of other dance schools for your child to go to, that follow the ABT curriculum, have experienced teachers that show up on time and a director who cares and takes pride in their facilities presentation and cleanliness and teachings. Do your research and take a tour in person before joining this sub par at best dance school. Very disappointing!

Classes are stackable so they complement other activities instead of creating conflict. There are multiple performances that are not mandatory, but provide all the children, regardless of the level, a chance to shine. Also of note, preparation for these performances are additional and do not detract from important class time.

The quality of training is recognized and appreciated in the professional dance world. The love, the care and personal attention that all the students receive is commendable. If you are looking for a non competitive environment and friends for life for your child, note that the school has a zero tolerance on negative competition and gossips (parents and or students). The Director and faculty members are dedicated and extremely generous with their time and knowledge. The performances are a delight ! A class ACT!

AVOID THE ADULT BALLET CLASS !!!…read more I was excited to find a ballet studio that offers adult classes in my area. The teacher Dieter Riesle told me that I could come for a trial class free of charge and added that "if you have had gymnastics, other dance forms, yoga or acrobatics prior, you may be able to work yourself into this level". As a 27-year-old former professional athlete who now does yoga and barre on the regular basis, it sounded as I would be able to do it. I came at 10am as the manager Hans-Jakob told me to, but it turned out the classes started at 10:30am. No problem! I waited. At 10:30am Dieter asked me how I was going to pay: cash or check. I said that he mentioned this first class being free so I didn't bring any cash/checks. He told me: oh, then you should SIT AND WATCH TODAY because "I don't want you to hurt yourself"!!! WHAT?!! So 5 seconds ago when you thought I was paying, you were not afraid that I would hurt myself?? The class consisted of older ladies, with one of them not even being able to walk straight anymore due to her old age! I told him that I took some ballet classes in Russia and I am an athlete in general. He did not care! He kept saying I would not be able to keep up with those older women. Wow, they must be retired from Bolshoi Ballet! I left the studio shocked and disgusted.
