I don't know what the character limit is for Yelp reviews, but I may find out while I attempt to…read moresing Braden's praises. I browsed his amazing portfolio while researching photogs for my destination wedding in Vail, CO. Upon contacting him, I truly thought he was too good to be true. The saying goes: 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably is." Nope. He was all we expected and more! We booked him foregoing the wedding industry's suggested "consult" where the photographer gets to know you and talks about your vision, etc., due to the destination component and time constraints. My hairdresser/family friend had me almost in a panic when I told her this. She was horrified, but assured me: "Oh, I am sure it will be...okay..." It was more than okay. Granted, we were given a bit of a deal as he was building his wedding portfolio. But it is obvious from his rich, well composed portfolio this was quite the opposite of "you get what you pay for." Yes, that was cliche #2. And I am here to tell you, whatever he quotes you will be well worth it! Aside from just generic praise, let me give you some specifics: - He was with us ALL DAY. He arrived at the hotel that morning before I did, and got shots of us on the dance floor for the final song. We provided him a meal at the reception, but I doubt he had time to eat it. - He was not intrusive. You hardly knew he was there, yet there were such amazing emotions caught on camera. He managed to capture so much during our ceremony from the back of the aisle (at my request) and I didn't once think about being photographed. - His skills speak for themselves. But I must add - he humored me wanting to take photos at the top of Vail mountain at the sunniest point of a sunny Saturday. He knew the direct sunlight would be a challenge with shadows, etc., but managed to get breathtaking shots (thanks to his timing with a small cloud + wind). And I don't use the word "breathtaking" lightly. The first shot he edited and emailed to me, literally made me gasp when I opened the message. Artistic and personal. - He has excellent customer service and is so easy to work with. Very easygoing. Replied so promptly at my requests for quotes/contract, which any bride can appreciate, especially one planning from afar with a few months to go. We had our first round (his "favorites") of edited photos before we had unpacked. I am not kidding. I think it was like 11 days. The total gallery was done maybe 10 days after that, maybe? He also sent me a DVD with high and low resolution of ALL edits. - He must have taken 8,000 photos that day. But the final product was less than 400. You didn't feel as if anything was missing and you also weren't forced to look at 25 photos with varying degrees of grandma's eyes being open/closed. He took a ton, found the best, and passed that on. I have had friends with over 1,000 wedding images and half of them look alike. That is just overwhelming. Braden does that editing for you! And oh so well! Overall, I obviously cannot say enough in his favor. I would recommend him all day long!

Braden shot our wedding last September in Crested Butte, and we could not be more happy with the…read moreresults. He never missed a moment while never interrupting the flow of the wedding. All of our guests noted his exceptional work and that he would go to no limits to get the perfect shot every time. We picked him because his pictures, while being incredible, maintained a natural feel to them. We were not disappointed and we highly recommend him as a photographer. When you choose him as a photographer you will not be let down from the first time you contact him to the day you receive your final product.

First of all, this place is beautiful no doubt. I had my wedding here this last summer and I'm not…read morereally the kind of person to tear anyone down but do feel like my experience needs to be shared with others about this venue. - The day of our wedding the fridge was not working and sadly our wedding was in July so our wedding cake practically was toppling over. No one warned us or apologized about this. - There were mice running around in the kitchen where we were told we could prep our food (We took pictures). The owner scoffed a little at my mother in law when she pointed it out to him and said it was bound to happen since they're out in the country. Our family also lives out in the country and pay every year to have people check for rodents/insects. It's 100% possible to prevent something like that. -The men's shower was not working and we were not told this either so we got to find this out on the day of our wedding. Which again was in July. Luckily the women's shower worked so we were all able to take turns and cram in there. -We were given a coordinator but she did not show up the day of our wedding. We were given a different person, who was extremely nice. However, because the coordinator that was suppose to show up didn't come, our chairs weren't put in the ceremony area. Sounds like a small thing, but it was something that took our bridal party and my grandparents/parents hours to do. Wish we could've got a heads up on something like this. The owner told us we could pay him extra money to have someone help us but we were already a little frustrated to show up and see that, since it was something my husband and I had asked her and the business that delivered them to make sure of. -Our rehearsal was very awkward in terms of us not knowing what to do. We scheduled a day to show up and showed up on time. However, our coordinator was no where to be seen. We walked into the building looking for her and found her in the middle of a whole other meeting she had scheduled. We weren't upset just a little confused. However, she seemed a little irritated at us for interrupting her meeting with someone else. We were a little confused as to why she scheduled someone over our appointment. Apparently it was a friend of hers who was curious about the venue. She told us at the end that we were suppose to just help ourselves and do it all without her. During this rehearsal the coordinator got upset with my aunt and mother in law for looking at the fridge since it was interrupting her meeting as well. I felt like it would have been nice to have her there for any questions on set up since that's why I assumed she was there. But I guess that is not exactly how they run things. Overall we encountered a lot of very unprofessional behavior and stresses that we really wish we didn't have to have on our wedding day. Like I mentioned, this place is beautiful and our wedding was great. However, if I had the opportunity to know all these things prior to booking this venue, I most likely would have gone elsewhere.
