Dr Adler introduced me to Neurofeedback and I'm a different person today because of it. I had an EEG done that revealed anxiety (as expected), which was really valuable to me in terms of confirming my own thoughts/experiences, but also giving me concrete data to work with and develop a plan. I started using Nexalin as often as I could and occasionally did Zengar as well. I gradually began to feel less stressed over classes, and felt I had a calmer, more present mentality in general. I stopped getting so anxious over exams and other more minuscule things that would normally cause me overactive anxiety. Obviously, these are things that require lifelong improvement and attention, but I felt noticeable changes much quicker than expected, and believe that with formal treatment guided by Dr. Adler, many would benefit. Everyone in the office is incredibly warm, genuine, and welcoming. Clients are approached with the same friendliness you'd experience with a family member or an old friend. This becomes very obvious when you see how the clients interact with staff and how they express their gratitude. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for therapy, especially if you are curious about neurofeedback! (PS. Follow @parkavepsychotherapy on social media!)

My partner, however, truly wanted to work things out. From our very first session, Mr. Garrett made both of us feel heard and respected. He listened attentively to each of us without taking sides and created a safe space where we could speak honestly even about the hardest parts of our relationship. Through his guidance, we were given real, practical tools and strategies to improve our communication. These were not just ideas, but skills we could actually practice in our day-to-day life. One of the biggest areas of growth for us has been learning how to communicate our needs clearly and set healthier boundaries with one another. Because of this, our communication has improved tremendously since we started seeing him. What makes Mr. Garrett especially valuable to us is that he truly knows our history. As we now explore a new version of our marriage, we feel confident continuing to practice the tools he has taught us. We plan to check in with him once a month to reflect on our progress, what is working, and what may need adjustment. His feedback is incredibly meaningful to us because it comes from a deep understanding of where we've been and where we are trying to go. We are truly grateful for his patience, insight, and support throughout this process. His guidance has helped us grow not only as a couple, but also as individuals.
