I have been a patient of Dr Tart's for a few years. I left my old Ob-gyne after not feeling heard…read moreregarding all my menopause symptoms. I was told by the other practice that I basically have to live with it. My sister-in-law recommended this practice & I picked Dr Tart from the website. I could not be happier ! Immediately I felt heard & understood. She put me on HRT & I have my life back. Is she quick with her appointments? Yes but I never feel rushed I just feel she is efficient. She is always on time & listens to everything I say. I have recommended her to many of my same age friends to help them with menopause. I never have a problem talking to anyone there. She has her own nurse you takes the messages & she gets things done ! For example my husband lost his job & we were going to have to change to an insurance plan that this office didn't take. I panicked b/c I love them & I have all my HRT through them. The nurse got me in to see Dr Tart even though I know there was no openings & they refilled my prescriptions for the year. The minute my husband got a new job we had better insurance so right back to this office. Highly recommend Dr Tart !!

I became a patient at this practice back in early 2018 after a friend recommend that I go see Dr…read more Oh for a second opinion on a large ovarian cyst I had. Dr. Oh took the time to review my images and then sat down with me to go over her thoughts, answer my questions, and talk about how she recommended we move forward. I was so impressed and put at ease by this interaction. I finally felt like someone was giving it to me straight and like I had a voice into my care. Following this appointment, I transitioned to this being my primary OBGYNE provider. When we started trying to conceive at the end of 2018 and had difficulty, Dr. Oh again was so gracious, patient, and sympathetic. She helped us navigate some preliminary testing to check if anything was amiss as we continued to try. When we finally, thankfully were able to conceive on our own, Dr. Oh came in to the room for our first appointment and celebrated with us. We could sense her genuine excitement for us after trying for almost a year. I have experienced these doctors in some challenging medical situations. Not only my ovarian cyst, and trying to conceive, but also a subchorionic hematoma, difficult delivery, and now progesterone shots for my second pregnancy. Dr. Heiberger commanded the room with a firm but calm demeanor when I was delivering my first son and had complications. The nurses have gone to battle for me in this pregnancy with the specialty pharmacy to make sure I get my weekly progesterone shots delivered on time. I can't say enough good things about this place. This practice has been an excellent place for me and my growing family.

I submitted my transfer of care paperwork to this practice when I was almost 25 weeks pregnant. The…read morereceptionist told me it would take 7 to 10 days for the doctor to review my transfer of care paperwork and either approve me or not. I called at the seven (business) day mark and the receptionist told me that it was not reviewed yet and a call back after the 10 day mark. I gave it a few more days because she said they would call me and schedule an appointment after 10 days and I never received a phone call. The next day that I was in the area was at the 14 (business) day mark and I still not had received a phone call. I went up to the office to inquire about my transfer and they printed my paperwork right then and had it reviewed while I was sitting in the office. Therefore they had not reviewed my transfer of care in the time that they had it almost 3 weeks prior and 14 business days. I called several times providing them an opportunity of a reminder to review the records. I was waiting in the office for about 30 minutes, After about 15, I over hear one of the nurses say, with my records in hand, "I will take this to the doctor to look it over". I do not have any complications with my pregnancy and no serious medical issues. They have a complete record of all my OB/GYN visits at my prior practice. After only about 15 more minutes, she comes back and says, "We cannot accept you, the doctor wants you to stay with your current OB.". So, they denied me saying that they did not have time to do an initial exam with me. I thought that was the reason I needed to send in my records? The nurse stated that they are pretty far booked because they are very busy. However, while I was waiting in the lobby, I heard women scheduling appointments that they had available in June. I'm not really sure why the doctor just couldn't review my records in the time they had allotted and then continue my care as if I am a reoccurring patient and just except my transfer. I can almost guarantee that it is because I am a TRICARE insurance holder and they probably won't make much money off of me . I tried to explain to the lady that I live far away and need to have an OB/GYN that delivers at the hospital so that I can be induced. The point of this review is to say, that they had all of my paperwork for 3 weeks and reviewed it all in a 10 minute span, and then denied me without even talking to me. Maybe if they knew or even cared to know my situation they would reconsider. However there seems to be zero cares GIven. If I had not went up to the office, I would not have gotten a phone call back and I Would not know if I had been excepted or not. I would not be able to transfer my care to another OBGYN who delivers at lake forest because I would be too far along. This might be a nice office, but that doesn't mean the people who work here are.

Everything was super methodical and systemic. We completed the registration paperwork online & well in advance which made things so much more simple on the day of. When we walked in to get admitted they were able to pull up all of my details immediately and had me checked into my room. Within 45mins they had vitals checked and an IV line running. Talk about efficient. From there on it was a long wait till our lil one decided to make her arrival via C-section but through it all the nurses were beyond anything we could have asked for. They kept checking regularly and were there to clarify any and all doubts we had. There were mom, dad and grandparents at the hospital BUT the nursing staff did a tremendous job of allaying our fears, providing open communication, several words of encouragement and simply being a champion for the patient. C-section is major surgery and when it came down to needing that, it was nerve wracking. The doctors and nurses however were there every step of the way giving us the courage that we were in safe hands. The days post C-section surgery are a dirty scene. Simple tasks like coughing or using the restroom aren't simple. Bless the nurses who did all of that 'dirty' work with nothing but a smile and kind encouraging words. Special mention to my doctors Jill Holden and Heather Heiberger, nurse Anita and Anesthesiologist George Hefner. Few other things - ++ The rooms for Labor / Delivery and Recovery are separate but fully private. ++ The actual patient area (beyond reception) is controlled access with the doors opened or closed by the nurse at the nurses desk ONLY. ++ Food for patient and 1 care taker was included - some great menu choices! My favorite was the Crusted Tilapia - yumm.... ++ Before discharge the hospital also gives a complimentary in room dinner, complete with white table cloth, champagne and a special menu. You have the option of asking your little one to be kept in the nursery so you and your SO can have some quiet moments - cos life is never gonna be the same again - lol ;-) My baby girl is now 1.5yrs old and her birth was made even more wonderful through the expertise, love and compassion from the team at Lake Forest Hospital (Hunter Family Center). THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU.

This is a complete BS
