In comparison, repeated messages left with Costco Hearing went unreturned; in-person at Costco, I learned that they were taking appointments for two months later. PNW Audiology offer a premium experience in a sophisticated, professional, and warm environment. I don't feel like just-another anonymous face on the conveyor belt. It works essentially like a concierge model, where a single fee covers everything for a 3-year period: all exams, follow-up visits, hearing aid maintenance (ie. firmware updates) and re-calibrations, and the hearing aids themselves. UPDATE: The three year contract covers all subsequent services *after* the initial hearing tests. They administer 3 sets of tests: an audiometry threshold evaluation and speech recognition test, a tympanometry test, and a speech-in-noise test. These were partially covered by my benefits and I was responsible for the balance. My audiologist, Dr. Winkler, is thorough and patient-focussed. As an engineer and technologist myself, I was pleased by her ability and willingness to discuss more-technical and geeky aspects of my hearing abilities, outlook, tuning, as well as my HAs (I opted for the Oticon More 3s). I was working with another Dr in the same clinic using StemWave therapy to help a should and neck issue I had been dealing with for 10 years (which I also highly recommend). My shoulder and neck would literally trigger each other in pain and it was extremely hard to do much as a result. I had done an ablation through my pain therapy clinic but that did not solve the issue, it temporarily helped the neck but the shoulder remained on fire. My pain over the last two years was in the 7-9 pain levels. I tried the Stemwave therapy and it was completely helping my shoulder pain. My shoulder pain was gone, but I can tell it was not 100% solving the issue in my neck because it was structural. The shoulder was doing so much better and the triggering of pain between the neck and shoulder was gone, but the neck started creeping back in as ablation started to wear off. For me this was not acceptable and I began to fear the pain coming back with a vengeance. The Stemwave Dr initially told me about the Atlas Orthogonal treatment as a solution and thought I would be a good candidate for it so I reached out to Dr. Prentice and got the ball rolling. SO HAPPY I DID. My pain is a zero in my neck and shoulder now!! I am in ongoing treatment as it is a process to fixing the structural issues that had been present for many decades, not just the past 10 years of constant neck pain I have experienced. I am 100% happy with the results and highly recommend people trying this treatment as a solution, not just a band aid and without surgery or a temporary fix. It is also important for me to mention, I am also doing decompression therapy for a stage 1 slipped disk that keeps on slipping and causing me to not do the living I like to do and though I am early in the process, I am extremely hopeful this therapy will be what I need to fix....not just mask this issue. Stay tuned, I will certainly provide an update once I am on the other side. My goal is to avoid surgery in my back. A stage 1 disk slippage can easily go from 1 to done if one is not careful. To all of you going through pain, do some research on your own as I did and ask yourself, is this masking my issue or truly helping it. I get it, sometimes getting out of pain regardless becomes the goal, but truly healing, well that is where the magic starts.

At 72, I was unable to stand up straight, like.a bent over old woman, my legs would go numb, and sometimes my muscles wouldn't work and I would just fall over! I had asked to be referred to Dr. Yundt for over a year, but I kept ending up with other PAs and other neurosurgeons, because providers in corporations are unwilling to refer outside their group.All they told me to do was get injections into my spine, which did no good whatsoever. I finally did some foot stamping, and ended up in Dr. Yundt's office. he took one look at my MRI and told me not to worry, that he could help me. I had a laminectomy on L 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5, and when I woke up from anesthesia, for the first time in two years, I could feel my feet, and when it came time to be discharged from this day surgery, I could stand up straight and tall, and walk normally, painlessly. I'm going to be able to ride my horse in another month, and now I can walk normally everywhere; I can hike, I walk my fields, And start living a normal life. Dr. Yundt changed my life, or perhaps I should say that he returned my life to me. I cannot say enough, good about him. He was clear and concise, and very straightforward. Not only is he a skilIed and conscientious surgeon, but also a stellar person who does many works for those less fortunate. I don't think he has a God complex, but he certainly deserves to.
