I reviewed this business before but somehow my review disappeared. HHHMMMM, interesting. I do not…read morerecommend this company and I would never use it again. 3 of us on my block used this company. 2 of us were sharing a bill together-we all got overbilled. This company gives a bid and then miraculously it takes more time so the bill goes up! This happened to all 3 of us. He was also instructed to split the bill equally for us and our neighbors but he gave us a bill for 2/3 of the work. He also got sawdust all over my car on a rainy day. It's his attitude that's the worst-he is arrogant and cocky and doesn't take suggestions or criticisms well at all. There are so many nicer people in Durango-skip this company-you'll be happy you did.

I contacted Animas Valley Arborists and they were more than happy to provide a truck load. In addition they sent a 3-man crew to load wheelbarrows and spread the wood chips throughout the pathways between the garden beds. In speaking with the guys, they were polite and knowledgeable, and do all sorts of tree related services such as tree trimming, removal as well as planting. And their service area is huge! They service more than La Plata County, go as far east as Pagosa Springs, and down to Farmington. For these reasons, I wanted to give them a proper acknowledgement for their hard work and a big thanks for donating their time and the wood chips. The teacher, other volunteers and students appreciate it too!
