After 2 winters, the retaining wall collapsed. When I contacted Ferrol to rectify, he refused to pay for an actual professional mason who fixed the project. So much for standing by his work. Further with the initial project, Ferrol did not finish the project, did not complete the three other retaining walls in the initial contract and did not provide landscaping, demanding more money to finish the project. He is not educated in structural integrity and has no formal engineering training. He did not respond to my letter asking for compensation after I had a mason do the work. The mason said the retaining wall Ferrol installed should have never ever been constructed, it was doomed to fail.

Once I chose Brothers, the operations manager came by to look at and mark the terrain and discuss a start date. The crew actually began work a day early, worked 10 hours, and was 95% finished in one day. They came back the next morning to finish up and spent extra time and effort tightening the woven wire and closing gaps that were created by shallow ravines in the challenging sloped terrain. The crew was friendly and approachable throughout, and did a good job explaining how they planned to solve any problem caused by trees and terrain.
