A guy came out and gave me an estimate. He was supposed to call the next day to schedule the removal. He never called, even after I called him again to prod him. I finally checked Yelp and found Santos with his good reviews. He came out quickly, gave a fair estimate, said he could do it the next day. He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. Friendly and straightforward and very professional.

We walked around the property and he said he would take care of all our tree needs and promised to come back in the fall to do some pruning. He never called and never showed up. Two times I called for estimates for tree removal and pruning and no one called me back. Recently we had a storm that uprooted one of our trees and knocked it onto the neighbors' property. The same neighbor that recommended Apple. All of the tree services in the area were very busy but our neighbor was freaking out about our tree so I thought if I called Apple and mentioned my neighbors I would at least get a call back. Nothing. I don't do business with people who don't return my phones calls. It only takes a minute to tell someone you're too busy to do the work. It only takes a minute to act like you care about your reputation. It only takes a minute to do the right thing.

We first contacted Tree Lion through Yelp after a tree fell and affected multiple neighboring…read moreproperties. Initially, they indicated they could come out on Saturday, July 4, but the estimate was ultimately confirmed for Sunday, July 5, between 11:00 am & 12:00 p.m. I was coordinating the appointment on behalf of a loved one. Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.

He handled the job gracefully, even with the unwanted disruptions from the (special) neighbor whom owned the rear tree. My Grandmother and I were very pleased with Robb and his guys. They cleaned up nicely and swept up all of debris left behind. I would recommend Grace Tree company to anyone interested in a professional and respectful team.
